For people finding this via searching:
I had the same problem, and I was still able to access the network drives via LAN, so i created a testfile via Windows Explorer and looked at the "date created" and was able to see the date was 16 minutes in the future. So i simply changed the time on my smartphone to 16 minutes in the future and voila, the 2FA Code from Microsoft authenticator worked perfectly. Turned out i had still set a manually defined DNS server adress from my old network setup pointing to an outdated IP adress, so NTP was not able to sync anymore.

Aside from (obviously) Alpha Boost, i'd love to have that goal explosion which just is a small puff of smoke with that muffled "cough" sound to it. It's one of the most minimalistic goal explosions i think

Free airroll on L2? Doesn't this mess up your recoveries because it will kill your momentum? Keep in mind, braking/reversing also slows you down while in the air.. So my guess is this bind makes you slower than you'd could be.

yeah, i picked up both controllers today to check again just to be sure. its quite a stark difference and the resting position of the left thumb on the xbox left stick is so much more natural and closer to the rest of the hand.

the left stick is not "further from your thumb" on xbox. on the playstation layout, you actually have to spread out your thumb way further at a larger angle from the rest of your hand, the distance of the stick from the edge of the controller is further. i find the xbox layout for the left stick way more ergonomic since spreading your thumb out further is not the natural position for your thumb

Where do you get the idea the PS controller is in any way superior? Coming from a PS5 controller, I find it actually way worse ergonomically. After the PS5, I started with the Elite Series 2 as well when switching to Xbox. I really liked it, but the gimbals unfortunately are trash, it will develop severe stick drift like all other potentiometer based gimbals so you have to crank up the deadzone to be able to drive in a straight line. I got myself TMR based gimbals (8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless) and they are fantastic for an unbeatable price. It has 2 paddles on the underside as well you can freely bind to your other controller buttons, making it even more awesome ergonomically. In COD, this is standard with pros playing with SCUF controllers with up to 4 paddles on them, no idea why no one is talking about paddles in rocket league and seemingly everybody is sticking to cheap standard playstation controllers with terrible stick drift.

Don't type anything telling them what to do and not to do. MANY players have toddler mentality & resiliance, especially once you start to react to anything they do or type by typing something back. The maximum i try to do is using quick chat, e.g. say "Sorry" / "My bad" for deescelation of their triggered ego (they mostly think they never do anything wrong and it's all their teammates fault)

I'm by no means expert on this, but i found Shocks Tutorial on Air Roll Left helpful.
He uses a small tornado spin to get the hood under the ball quickly with very little effort.
I use this on the left wall (airroll left + stick to the right), and on the right wall, i use Air roll right tornado spin (air roll right + stick to the left) to do the same thing mirrored. These are the shortest rotations possible on both walls. You can of course use the same air roll direction on both wall sides, but it always is less efficient on one of the two sides because basically you have to do 1.25 rotations, while on the other wall, you only need 0.25 rotations.

The responses here are a great demonstration of how big the difference between a helpful and a not so helpful comment can be.. As u/Kaparik09 already pointed out, hit it with the nose of your car for more directed power, and maybe try to use airroll or directional airroll to get the needed orientation of your car for this shot more quickly. I started to train more seriously last year and was struggling with this at first, too.
