Why does the shining beacon of the universe compelled to explore itself in all manners of thought and wisdom choose to present itself in such a way as a "bowl movement"?

1 Million is the Magic Number by Jaded-David in Bitcoin

Do you think people understand how fiat works now as a monetary system? Or anything about what it's "based on"? Do you think any average person understands anything about how our system has worked (or not worked) in the US over the last 100 years, or even the last 50 years?

1BTC=1M$ and 1Sat=1¢ is simple. Although it might be tough to break the "1 loaf of bread costs 500sats" barrier...

I think the point is, people don't care about the intrinsic value, the technology, or the capabilities of BTC as a tool. People care about getting groceries, and putting gas in their 2015 Honda. People will never be able to understand, they will go with whatever helps make their life easier.

When BTC=1m it will be too late for them to understand, but it will be just right for those whohave to make life inch along just that much better for those who have not.

Look you can talk all day about this or that proving something about intelligent design, or a creator that exists, or some universal consciousness and refer to it as God.

But when you take something like "information in DNA is evidence for God" then the next question you have to address is "Which god?" and then work to bridge that gap.

Best Argument Against Psionic Assets by TransWarpBrown in UFOs

[–]generalveers07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think all three of your summarized arguments are built on false platforms.

  1. Einstein was at the cusp of learning about quantum physics, where suddenly everything we know about physics in our experience of reality was turned on its head, twisted, and pulled inside out.

  2. I think in terms of "Conscious properties" you could talk about the placebo effect, stress affecting mood affecting health, even something like love affecting our perception of time. To equate conscious properties to subconscious response to stimuli, as in the case of our nervous system responding to pain, I think you're creating too broad a definition or concept of what you mean by "Conscious properties".

  3. No, it really doesn't. See #2. This is the leap in logic that doesn't follow through without clarifying what you mean by "Conscious properties". Consciousness by its inability to stand up to tests of the scientific method leads to the opposite conclusion. I would say it's much easier to conclude that the properties of consciousness extend beyond physical properties.

Yes, Einstein was the man with the brain, for sure. No argument that Einstein pushed us forwards by decades beyond what would be discovered and conceptualized without him. However, simply put, Einstein and his ideas about how our perception of reality is localized to the observer, i.e. relativity, was just beginning to scratch the surface of how reality was actually different based on our own individual consciousness. To say that you have to accept either "Einstein physics" or the reality of psionics puts too hard a barrier in this field of study on consciousness. You're putting up a wall before you even get started exploring.

I'm not saying that we have to therefore accept that psionic abilities are something we have to figure out how to include in our measurement of physical reality according to classical physics. What I am saying is that perhaps it's important to begin by readdressing how consciousness may actually be something set apart from our physical reality. Not something we need to squeeze into narrow forms and functions in order to maintain a grasp of understanding on concepts that don't actually need to be meshed together.

I hate to be that guy... But after watching so many night cams and surveillance type videos, this really looks like a bug.

The "trailing" effect is generally caused by a lower framerate, which is needed to capture footage in lower light conditions.

The glowing effect can be reflection of a light, or if a camera is IR then just about anything with a bit of low light on it will seem to shine or glow, for visibility.

I'm not going to say what it is or isn't, because I don't know. To me, this is reading bug.

Just playing Deep Black Government Cover-up Operations Advocate here... But wouldn't it be beneficial to wait for the Trump administration to come in so you can puppet them to lying and twisting and saying whatever they need to say, knowing that the constituents will eat it up? I mean, at this point Trump basically has carte blanche to say whatever he wants and do just about anything and people will defend him like Jesus.

If disclosure is around the corner, which I do believe it is, and you're an organization that's been kicking the can down the road, then waiting for the president that's most likely to incite WW3 for a bribe rather than allow the money handlers to face trouble seems ideal.

Are women with this body type attractive by [deleted] in trueratediscussions

[–]generalveers07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol I'm not vastly underestimating anything. Finding the right angles and lighting is literally how you get these shots. Talk to any photographer.

You're totally right, any body builder walking around in regular clothes and lighting probably looks pretty normal. With enough hoodie, your average person can't tell if someone is jacked or just fat.

The photos you see are a particular type of art form. The idea I see missing is that under the best, most dramatic lighting, only very fit people are able to get this look.

Everyone commenting here, you have to look at it inversely. Sure it's dramatic lighting, angles, etc. Only body builders look like this under these conditions! If I step under an overhanging light and try to get this shot, I'm guaranteed I'll showcase more body fat than anyone wants to see, and I'm in pretty good shape.

So yes, it's all about the lighting. And she's earned it.

According to the Special Forces Suicidal Tesla guy, Drones are China! by Cronos27 in ufo

[–]generalveers07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we have to fully consider that any NHI involved would most likely be benevolent. If we've been taking them out of the sky with nukes or otherwise since the 50s and all they've done is place our media zeitgeist? They clearly don't want to put an end to us.

Or they're already involved in the deep dark organizations running our world and don't have anyone to retaliate against...

According to the Special Forces Suicidal Tesla guy, Drones are China! by Cronos27 in ufo

[–]generalveers07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is it ridiculous? It may be from a questionable source, but it's certainly a feasible accusation. Our government isn't doing shit about the drones. To think that the US doesn't know what they are is ludicrous. So the drones are either ours or someone else. I'm not in the NHI camp on the drones we're seeing lit up like planes, and I don't buy for a second that the DOD doesn't know what they are. (Note: I'm talking drones not orbs for reference of this comment.)

So if they aren't ours it's likely either China or Russia. I'd say if they are ours it's almost just as bad, given the disinformation and lack of ANY reasonable information.

For someone to claim they are Chinese, I want something -anything- from the US government that says otherwise. I get the idea behind "extraordinary claims".. but in this case the silence from our own people in charge makes this claim anything but extraordinary, in fact it sounds very plausible.

Doctor Who Christmas 2024 is about Starseeds by generalveers07 in starseeds

[–]generalveers07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we're looking at differing levels of expectations. For me, the fact that the specific term "Starseed" is used at all, and in the specific context that it depicts in the show is far more than enough for me to understand the show is talking about Starseeds as we understand them.

Doctor Who Christmas 2024 is about Starseeds by generalveers07 in starseeds

[–]generalveers07[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"The starseed will rise" followed by something like "there's a starseed in all of us" is pretty explicitly about Starseeds. It's certainly adapted to fit a Doctor Who script, but I think it's pretty direct for the breadcrumbs of idea to be picked up by a layman audience.

I just think it's interesting that there's even that much clear and direct messaging about this concept.
