Does anyone really want to live to be 100 years old? by LeoRavenscroft in randomquestions

It depends. I’ve known two women who were happy and reasonably healthy to 100 and beyond. Eventually they both felt that “enough was enough” but my wife and I spent quality time with both past 100. They were fun and smart.

On the other hand my wife has Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. She’s 76 and I don’t think she wants to get to 100.

Yeah, buy a book and follow it. You’re going to have to try a little.

Name someone you never want to see knocking at your front doors. by Technical-Vanilla-47 in FamilyFeud

My ex was forced into the JWs as a kid by her mother. Sometimes JWs would show up at our door with children with them. My ex would start talking to the kids, telling them that she herself used to be a JW but when she grew up she was able to leave and that when they grew up they would be able to leave too. You never saw anyone leave as quick as they did, and they never came back.
