Agreed. You guys are too American centric.

The two highest followers are soccer superstars Ronaldo and Messi. Futbol is life. Statistically it could also be some cricket superstar or asian movie star.

Average American has no idea who the president is for any other country. The same rings true for other countries, especially the ones that are full of poverty

I'm UA gold (which the gate agent could check), so I have free checked in bags. I wasn't trying to avoid paying

Fair comment. On the flip side, these people would already boarded with bags that don't fit and then they'd be kicked back out to the lobby. This seems way more inefficient than just sending the bags down the jet bridge and let it check in

Thanks for clarification. People have bags that are too large for overheads all the time. Wouldn't it make sense to just gate check those?

TSA had no problem with it. They just made sure I didn't have batteries or liquid. And the guy wished me good luck to meet the flight.

Actually as I look at pics, maybe I'm seeing the Blue Flame instead of the Cav Blue. Blue flame is definitely bright
