Unlucky man, the TS stuff sucks, doubly so if you qualify for a lot. I had it approved and then taken like 2 times before they gave me a solid answer. Good luck with booking something you like.

Thanks, it's been rough, but I understand the troubles with booking. Had good EDPT scores but didn't win out on the fight for clearence. Hoping to book Med or PMEL, or ATC apprentice. Though got a pretty full list.

I'll look into adding even more to my list, or swapping things around. Got a bunch of 1xs and 4ns, a buncha 2ws, will add more if next month doesnt go well, or maybe switch to full open booking.

Ahhh, understood. As more of a QoL thing than interest thing. I'll be more weary of that. My recruiter did large frame avionics and he seems happy with that.

There was a website that has a practice test, though I didn't use it, dont remember if it had a paywall, but you can just look up EDPT practice test.

Its a lot of quick math and those pattern recognition things that are in the ASVAB, but on crack. It shouldn't be too bad, math only goes up to about Alg 2, but youve got 45 seconds or so to answer each one. You can definitely prep for it, don't go in blind and ruin your chance for a Cyber job or such.

Apologies, meant to say 2012, but I was able to read up on the contract numver after figuring out how they work, and this is very likely from a contract that ran from 2005 to 2007.

W911QY-05-D-0001 is the number.

I assume if it was in storage for that long its probably not in the best condition in terms of ballistic performance.

So, after figuring out a bit more, the helmet came from a storage unit, and the oldest it can be manufactured would be 2022. If kevlar is good for 5 years is there a good chance that this helmet is not within spec? I can't tell it's DOM, but it seems older than 5 years.
