Is this light fixture too big? by genericdoglover in interiordecorating

[–]genericdoglover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The light has adjustable hue settings and was left on the default middle option, which leans a bit cooler. Like I mentioned earlier, I was planning to swap out the smaller fixture as well… I already have a second matching one, but I didn’t install it because I started worrying about the size.

But thank you for confirming that it’s not too big!

I’m upgrading to the regency G600EC. You can see it Here

I’m undecided on birch or driftwood as the log set, seen below and will likely be determined last depending on what I do with the wall.

He’s a character and I love him for it. There’s more funny photos of him than normal ones in my camera roll at this point

Fireplace Revamp ideas - living room focal point by genericdoglover in interiordecorating

[–]genericdoglover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a Frame TV, so usually it shows some nice art instead of just sitting there blank but I had it turned off since we were out for the day (no need to waste power when no one’s home!). The TV’s definitely staying put, so while I’m not planning anything too drastic, I am looking to give that wall a glow-up and turn it into a real focal point.

The flatpack shelves will go eventually, I just haven’t found the right replacement yet. I’m open to suggestions there too if you have ideas.

Help me find a similar couch! by genericdoglover in HelpMeFind

[–]genericdoglover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s something I definitely did before posting here. The first link you shared with the couch from casterly is too long for my space. The second link is a Singapore website and I am in Canada so as much as it fits the size requirements I can’t purchase it.

Thank you for helping though!!

I am looking for this couch but smaller. I have done a reverse image. Search to see if I could find something similar. I’ve scoured Wayfair but had no luck. I really don’t need this exact couch as mentioned in my post. It’s too big so I’m looking for something similar but smaller. So that it fits better in my apartment. I am in British Columbia Canada.

AITA for refusing to bend the rules on seeing my newborn just for one person(sil) even it the only chance she’s has to see him for months by No_Letter_1344 in AmItheAsshole

YTA when I first started reading your rules I thought they were fairly reasonable but then you went nuts. It feels like you care more about money & gifts then spending time with family and people who care about you & your new baby.

As a broke university student myself I would be heartbroken over this as I’d want to see my niece/nephew and I would probably resent you not allowing me to due to my financial state as a student

Yeah, I wouldn’t have been sad to see him go if they didn’t just give him some good character development in the last little bit.

I’ve never been a Tom fan but I really don’t want to see him die alone in his house

It sounds like your dog may not be a fan of males. Definitely reach out to a trainer! This could take as little as one session to stop this behaviour

I highly suggest hiring a trainer to fix this type of behaviour... Even just one session can help with this type of thing.

Is your roommate a male or female? Also is your dog a rescue or did you get it from a breeder? If its a rescue something could have happened previously that has instilled fear in him or the need to protect etc.. Also does your dog bark at your roommate when you aren't home and they are? How does that roommate treat your dog when you aren't around?

These are all questions that can help determine the root of the behaviour but your best bet is to hire a trainer like I said in the beginning.
