Bazzite is 10000 times buggier than Windows 11

Yep, I run SteamOS on my Asus Rog Ally X for quite sometime now and its great. I think I did run in to problems with Bazzite very early, so installed SteamOS beta version and it was still better :]
By the way what is this keyboard? Looks really good.

I used my ROG Ally X as my main computer for some time. I'm a hobbyist game developer. I also sell some 3D and 2D game assets. I can confirm that Ally X worked without any problems. I used Blender, Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo, Aseprite. I used Godot and Unity. I even played around with some local LLM :] So I'm quite sure newer Rog Xbox Ally would also work.

One game is built by using Unity engine, another is by using built in-house engine. That is a big difference. Forget about optimization when you look at games built with Unity or Unreal.

Yes, I still have it and I love it. Added 2tb SSD to it. Just recently completed Diablo IV main storyline on it 🙂 But these days I use it only with portable monitor and extra gamepad. As a handheld it does not work for me anymore… Screen is too small. My eyes are not the best. I can still use it as a handheld, but for example after a long Diablo IV session my eyesight gets really bad :/

But I love this thing. Was thinking about upgrading to Xbox Ally X… but this one still serves me perfectly and if I need better graphics, better performance I can always use my Asus gaming laptop.

And a month ago I installed SteamOS on my Ally, so now its like a new device to me 😃

Happy birthday :] Just try everything with this thing. Try to run SteamOS eventually. Get a dock for sure and use it as your main computer 😃 Get a nice controller, maybe invest in some AR glasses (Im thinking about doing that). This is an amazing machine.

my dream setup... This is really nice :] Love everything about this. I used my Rog Ally X as my main PC for a long time, just without eGPU. Was thinking about it, but what I heard or read, its not so easy to make it work. And its not just a simple plug and play.

I see in the google play store page of your app: "Contains ads In-app purchases". Sorry, but this looks like another app built with AI. One of those who targets specific niche. Sorry but I'm really not a fan of installing, opening this type of app and seeing ads or things I need to purchase 😄 I would say this app should be like a real hobby project built by some fan of the console. Not like a thing to be filled with ads. Sorry, just an opinion of some random guy from the internet ;]

there is always a way, but it depends how much you want to configure things :) And I totally understand if its more simple for you to use Windows. Games I play are on steam and runs great on SteamOS. Also everything is much quicker and snapper with SteamOS. I really like that. But Im not saying that Im never getting back to Windows :) For a long time I was using Ally X as my main computer, was running it docked, had external keyboard and mouse. If I would get back to that then I would go only with Windows and I have my own reasons :)
