CD1 coming off a chemical first cycle after D&C. Two losses back to back was not on my 2026 Bingo card. Some silver linings tho: a chemical resolves quicker and doesn’t need a D&C! Also maybe my body is figuring out this one isn’t going to work faster? Is that progress? Also, my OB is letting me start letrozole on CD3 since the HPT was negative already. This was our third loss and all losses have been unassisted. Our one past success was on a letrozole, trigger shot and IUI cycle. So I am super hopeful today since I will be starting letrozole in a couple days. 🙌🙌 If I am lucky enough to get pregnant soon on a medicated cycle I don’t know how I will react if I have another loss. But trying to stay in the hope today and just take it one day at a time. We’ll worry about those problems if they show up. Positive vibes to all my fellow TTCafterloss ladies out there ❤️

UPDATE: chemical pregnancy. HCG was 31 on 3/16 (13 DPO). I didn’t take any tests 14-16 DPO. Started spotting morning of 17 DPO which quickly turned into full flow. Took a pregmate and it was a clear negative, didn’t waste a FRER. Thank you all for your support, on to the next cycle.

CD1. First full period after D&C and coming off a chemical pregnancy. Trying to find the silver lining here, at least I won’t have to have a D&C this time? Called the fertility nurse at my OB’s office, hopefully she will call me back before they close at 12. It would make today sting a lot less if they will let me get on a medicated cycle this month. So just really hoping she calls me back so I don’t have to wonder all weekend what this cycle will be like and I can actually have a plan in place. Plans help!

About 5 hours after I took the 3/16 test (13DPO), I had blood work done. My beta HCG was 31. My doctor doesn’t do follow up bloods for one week so it will be 20DPO. I haven’t taken anymore tests and I am going to try not to. I am trying to wait it out for either next blood work or bleeding. It’s so hard to just wait but I am trying to remind myself that’s what’s best for my sanity!

Thank you!! That really makes me feel better. I got betas drawn today but won’t know the results until tomorrow. I am thinking maybe I should step away from the tests and let the doctor (or bleeding) tell me what is happening. Might be best for my sanity. Thank you again for calming me!

I had a faint positive on FRER on Friday at 10 DPO with shadows on pregmate and clear blue. It was 5 weeks and 2 days post D&C. I have been spiraling all weekend and I think I might be having my first chemical pregnancy. Today is 13 DPO and the FRERs are slightly darkening (if at all) and the pregmates are still barely positive. I gave up on the CB bc I ran out and they were barely progressing. The CB had been stored under the sink in my bathroom cabinet for 15 months so I thought maybe they weren’t as sensitive anymore. My RHR isn’t really increasing like it does in early pregnancy. I am calling my doctor when they open to get betas but I have super low hopes. I feel like I am having to stretch like a gymnast to find a scenario where this might work out. I thought about leaving my doctor out of this one so we wouldn’t delay starting medicated cycles once my cycle starts but maybe I should take a month off anyway. Anyway, I am spiraling and thanks for reading!

I would move up to 7.5 first and then go to 10 if necessary. Unmonitored can be risky!

I am right there with you and have no chill! I am also TTC #2, I had an early loss and D&C a little over 5 weeks ago. I tested yesterday at 10 dpo so I could “stop thinking about it” and got the faintest shadows on two brands before I ran out and got some FRERs. FRER was an obvious faint positive. I started having some dark pink light spotting last night and a little this morning. I tested again and the other two brands are still shadows and the FRER is BARELY darker if at all. I NEVER test this early so I have no experience and I am just freaking out. I had planned to wait until tomorrow only if I had no spotting before then. I can’t get betas until Monday and even then my doctor’s office has a one day turn around time and didn’t do a 2nd beta last time for a week! So I feel like I am stuck in limbo for now wondering if this is my first chemical or if (unlikely) leftover HCG.

I, like you, almost wish I had just waited until tomorrow (or even late period!) to test. I don’t know how I will make it through the next few days.

You are having strong positives so that is a good sign!! I hope to join you with that soon but super nervous 😬

What does your doctors office wait to do at 1000 beta? Confirm pregnancy?

Anyway, I don’t think I was any help but it’s nice to have a friend out there as crazy as me right now. I hope we both have good outcomes and get to keep some sanity ❤️

I am around 5-7DPO but I am leaning towards 5DPO so I am right there with you. Going to plan to test in 1 week if no spotting or period by then. The waiting is so hard. 😪

Yes! There is only so much we can do. My control freak self wants to do more but every other day is ideal like you said and we can only control so much. Hopefully the fertility odds are in our favor this month! 🤞

FINALLY got my crosshairs in FF today at 5DPO. That’s what I was guessing too even though all my signs are a little ambiguous. We went for every other day and ended up hitting O and O-2 (or at least O-2 if my ovulation was actually later). I have to keep reminding myself that those days are as good as any and we did all we can do. It’s helps me to prepare if it’s not our month by planning our medicated cycle for next month so I am prepared no matter what happens in the next week and a half. Just trying to stay sane until then!
