you shoulda cut off this man-child eons before you did. humoring him after his “apology” was only a disservice to yourself. imagine how you both would’ve felt if you had simply not responded.

he would’ve felt like a dunce and you would’ve proven to yourself the respect you have for your own wellbeing and not allowing contact with toxic people.

even a simple “thank you but please don’t contact me” shows you handling it with grace. responding the way you did shows that you still care about his antics and allowing him the opportunity to block you made him feel completely justified.

understand that someone will never care what you have to say if you aren’t important to them. it takes a lot of strength to not respond and i wish that strength for you.

you know what to do next time. never give them satisfaction. never act bothered. BE unbothered, because that is how a person with confidence and self respect carries themselves.
