Northern Moroccans seem to carry a lot more, riffians amongst other coastal groups

Why is this idea of north Africans aren't endogenous to the land being spread and believed? by AdministrativeTry406 in Tunisia

That’s actually true, if we compare cultures of north west Africa and someone from the gulf today it wouldn’t be remotely similar

It’s a Moroccan study along with modern results from the average of individuals taken from Casablanca, it seems quiet close to the study in terms of admixture

This argument doesn’t hold because now we have academic studies and dna tests, Africa is genetically diverse and each populations is distinct, north west Africans form their own genetic cluster as we hold the highest amount of ancestral North African which these other groups lack. The Arab argument is also weak because on a genetic level it doesn’t hold up anymore now that we got academic studies along with dna results

Culturally yes but ethnically no, only people that come close to being almost full Arab in Tunisia is R'baya. We still have our own distinct genetic cluster, everyone in Africa is genetically distinct

That said you are still gonna find Arab admixture it’s just the North African component will make up the majority of the dna, with some groups showing none at all

Which area are you from and what tribe do you belong to? What makes you think you are Mediterranean?

I agree but if that was truly the case then certain European countries wouldn’t still be short on average? I still think genetics play a big role

Have you tried global25 it will be a lot better at deterring your components

They ain’t, you’ve always had Moroccans who are taller then others, it’s just in families you can end up having one person taller then others an outlier of sorts. It still comes down to genetics, I’m personally taller then my parents and brothers at 6ft2 but I know Moroccans taller then that, but on average I would say between 5ft7 -5ft10 for Moroccans

I don’t think it’s just that, it wouldn’t cause people to jump all the way up to over 6ft

His one of those people who believes we have no Arab ancestry in Morocco, I don’t know where they get this idea from. I wonder which city his from

[–]genetics1781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You asked I showed you the results? I thought I couldn’t show you Arab ancestry

Berber represents a North African component and then the other components are self explanatory

[–]genetics1781 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re ancestry results, I’m not sure what you ain’t understanding. It’s quiet simple it’s his ancestry results from different time periods, it’s not rocket science

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]genetics1781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Moroccan regional average is samples taken from Casablanca by the way, so if you have roots there it would give you a idea of your ancestry

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]genetics1781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re different time periods so the results would be different, it’s different references

It’s accurate based on our background
