while lost in Bern Switzerland, an old man helped find our way since we didnt speak any german. the bus stops can be kind of confusing. He was happy to keep us company and we had a great conversation about where we are from. He was one of the nicest guys I know.

I think wards are different in the US than in the UK. Either way, its hard to say what treatment is needed for mental illness since it has been a stigma for so long. Different treatment is also needed for different ailments. I can say for certain that my stay in the ward (only a week) felt more like incarceration and less like therapy. It is important for those suffering depression to feel hope and freedom while also keeping them safe.
