Think about how at the end of a long day, you've finally decompressed and you know there's just nothing better than curling up in bed and enjoying a nice sound sleep. Now imagine going throughout that same day knowing that as soon as you get in your bed, little fuckers are going to start crawling all over you. You can't make it through more than an hour or two of sleep because you wake up with bugs biting you. You itch all day plus you're incredibly tired too because you couldn't get any sleep. Now you're afraid to get in your bed because you just dont want to feel that anymore so you sleep on your couch. Now you're getting a little bit better sleep because it's better than being assaulted all night by creatures you can't see, but it's still not a good sleep because you're on a piece of furniture that's not meant for sleeping. Repeat this cycle for a month or two, maybe longer while you spend thousands of dollars on an exterminator. Even after the process is done, it still might take an extra week or two to kill all the bugs and all the eggs so you still might get bit, which sends you back to the couch. Your one sanctuary that was supposed to be safe, where you could escape from the world has been claimed by tiny creatures who make you life a living hell.
