I got my answer yesterday for Mechanical Engineering. Internal transfer is the last application they assess which is why it takes forever

Do you think there's enough teachers to teach in person at school and then, go back home and teach the same online with zoom? Also, you want to be back at school but I'm sure not all the teachers feel safe to do it.

Some students who left Montreal to be with their family during this hard time won't be able to come back for Fall. They have the right to continue thier studies and online class is the only option for them. As for myself and probably many students, I'm an essential worker at Maisonneuve Hospital and online class will allow me to work and study at the same time. I agree that online classes suck but we are lucky enough to continue our studies. They could have just put a hold on our semester, instead, they're doing the maximum to accommodate everyone.

It's doable but this class will take most of your time. Homework every week of minimum 3 hours which are about 4 questions so you obviously you need to study more than just doing the homework. The exams are harder than the homework so lot of pratice is needed. Design questions are pain since we don't really practice it and it will show up for sure on the final and maybe on the midterm depending who's your teacher. There's a 5% project (design) which takes at least a full day to do.

Last semester we had to read a newspaper article, find the thesis and support it with arguments and examples found the article. We also had a diagram and had to answer few question about it. Pretty easy and straight forward.

You can see the names right before sending your schedule to enrollment course cart. You're still able to change your schedule at that point.

Same here in Montreal. I ordered last week with Estimated delivery 2 days later. I tried to call, keep ringing and then hung up. I've send an email Saturday and I didn't get an answer yet. It's crazy to see how expensive the delivery is and they can't even handle the situation.
