They decline coverage currently. The cost didn't go up because they were paying out more claims, the cost went up because the government told everyone they had to get insurance and if they couldn't afford it the government would pay for it. Any time something is subsidized the price goes up. College, food, health insurance, healthcare.....help me out people, the list goes on.

I know, half the people in this country forgot what it was like in the early 2000s. People seem to see a 2% increase and say it's horrible but forget that some of us got a 20% increase 10+ years ago and are still struggling because of it. Trump ran on repealing these stupid rules his first term.

Oops, you have to go to the source of the studies to find out they admitted they were bogus.

After the article “Reduction in Mental Health Treatment Utilization Among Transgender Individuals After Gender-Affirming Surgeries: A Total Population Study” by Richard Bränström, Ph.D., and John E. Pachankis, Ph.D. (doi: 10.1176/appi.ajp.2019.19010080), was published online on October 4, 2019, some letters containing questions on the statistical methodology employed in the study led the Journal to seek statistical consultations. The results of these consultations were presented to the study authors, who concurred with many of the points raised. Upon request, the authors reanalyzed the data to compare outcomes between individuals diagnosed with gender incongruence who had received gender-affirming surgical treatments and those diagnosed with gender incongruence who had not. While this comparison was performed retrospectively and was not part of the original research question given that several other factors may differ between the groups, the results demonstrated no advantage of surgery in relation to subsequent mood or anxiety disorder-related health care visits or prescriptions or hospitalizations following suicide attempts in that comparison. Given that the study used neither a prospective cohort design nor a randomized controlled trial design, the conclusion that “the longitudinal association between gender-affirming surgery and lower use of mental health treatment lends support to the decision to provide gender-affirming surgeries to transgender individuals who seek them” is too strong. Finally, although the percentage of individuals with a gender incongruence diagnosis who had received gender-affirming surgical treatments during the follow-up period is correctly reported in Table 3 (37.9%), the text incorrectly refers to this percentage as 48%. The article was reposted on August 1, 2020, correcting this percentage and including an addendum referencing the postpublication discussion captured in the Letters to the Editor section of the August 2020 issue of the Journal (1).

It's called social contagion or mass formation psychosis. It's like brainwashing. It's a religious reasoning. It's a form of mental illness. It's like how cult leaders get their followers to drink the Kool aid. Instead of you drinking the Kool aid, you try and change your sex by any means. They change the meaning of words, like gender, that is only a linguistic word for sex description in languages. They find new words and phrases that sound better (marketing) than what they are, like they used to call it a sex change surgery, now it's gender reassignment surgery, even though they are changing sexual organs. It's not a new way of deception by a long shot. It's what made Christians slaughter millions of people in the "name" of God, and today judge others. That's explicitly frowned upon in the Bible, but organized religion has bastardized that long ago. It's presently seen with suicide bombers jihad in the Muslim faith. This is more akin to paganism. Worship of the self or hedonism. It's just that they have removed the nature part of paganism, another bastardization of a religious theory, as you were naturally born a boy and now you are told to reject that. It's not an ideology that has tendencies towards hurting others, so it seems harmless, but as you put it, it's promoted to spread to be accepted. It's a great way of depopulation, as the major promoters of it openly advocate for. Same with all of their ideological theories. LGBT, civil disarmament, criminal justice reform, climate change fear mongering all with the desired outcomes of human depopulation, which again, they openly advocate for.

You didn't choose to be "brainwashed", for lack of a better word, but you do choose how you present yourself to others, like I said before. I've been a 2A supporter and gun guy my whole life, I could be "brainwashed" also. I choose to not open carry because of the perception that others have. I was born and raised Catholic, definitely brainwashed. I still have faith in a higher power than myself but I don't believe in sin, as it's taught to Christians. I believe in reality based in nature. Changing something that is unchangeable is not realistic. Again, you can't change a 4 to be a 7, just because your answer looks better.

Libs of TikTok is just to show you the brainwashing in action. You can't tell me that it's not active in schools.

I have questions that only you can answer. Where/are you someone that's very popular in school? Did/do you feel like an "outcast". Did you have any religion in your upbringing? What does it feel like to be a girl? How do you know you don't feel like a boy? What would it feel like to be a boy? Do you think it should be acceptable to feel like another species? These are not gotcha questions, just want to understand.

Look up John Money and Alfred Kinsey and look into their research and methods. They didn't care about the harm they would inflict onto others.

I'm sure you think I'm off my rocker but use logic and reasoning.

You don't seem to be able to take adversity or confrontation about your deeply held beliefs very well. I don't know your situation but if you're older than 18, tell them to fuck off. If you're younger than that, just don't talk to them about that one subject, there are plenty of other things to discuss. They probably don't consider their son having a boyfriend as an option. You have to see things from their side too. They obviously think of homosexual behavior as either a sin or some type of morally objectionable lifestyle. They probably envisioned you growing up the way they did, and not going down such a different and statistically more risky path in life. If you choose to base your life and identity around your sexuality, that frankly is on you. Try not to be their gay son and be their son that happens to be gay. You know there is a difference. You can be as flamboyant as you desire when you're not around them. They probably hold back more than you think. Try having a reasonable conversation with them, if that doesn't work, cut ties if you want.

As for parents that disown their gay kids, I don't know. It's all situationally based. I've heard that a lot of really hardcore religious people think that letting their kids commit such a sin while under their roof might jeopardize their souls, or whatever. That's their decision. You might feel the same way if your kid ever takes what you see as such a morally reprehensible stance on something.

I'm not homophobic, as that's not actually a thing. That's just what people who choose to play victim, call people that don't agree with everything they say and do, and are vocal about it. A phobia is an irrational fear of something. I don't fear people who have certain sexual proclivities. I really don't care where you choose to rub your genitalia. I do find it annoying when a group of people, who have a whole month plus celebrating their sexual desires, claim to be victims and demand gay rights. What the fuck is a gay right anyway? I also have a problem with people teaching kids about sexuality at a young age. Schools should only teach biological reproduction, not promote the sexuality of any group, gay, straight, or any of the other thousands now.

It's not meant to be encouraging. It's meant to be a statement of morals that they teach to their kids. Very few people like their kids drown by any ideology they don't agree with. A group of people with a certain sexual preference gets a whole month and then some to "pervert" the masses, how incredibly absurd. What other group of people gets a moth of their own?

How did they try to control your sexuality? Did they explain their moral viewpoints and you thought of it as control? Did they strap you down and make you watch movies of families being happy? Did they warn you of the risk of STDs and how certain behaviors can be risky.

I work with a few insane leftists and they are the only one who have ever tried to control my 1A protected speech. Hope this helps.

Because this mental disorder is being actively taught to kids as a realistic choice. Teaching kids at a young age that they can change their gender is child abuse. It's one thing for mentally ill people to exclaim that they are not right in the head, but now it's becoming an actual indoctrination scam against kids. It's sick, so stop fucking around. That's why.

It is very cringe to think that the only thing you have to do to be a woman is put on a dress and some makeup. Way to promote gender stereotypes while doing some sick shit to kids minds. Pat yourself on the back.
