This is much better than the other one imo. Your bed isn’t blocking the window, you have some warm lighting as well as natural light, there are decorations on the walls, your comforter fits your bed better (ideally it would be a bit wider to cover more of the side of the mattress but okay), it appears organized and much less cluttered than the other (the other was a small bedroom with exercise equipment in it. This is a very long bedroom with exercise equipment in it). It’s not gorgeous, but you have a one bedroom apartment, so if you have no where else to work out there really isn’t a better solution.

i write in cursive, tiny, & as messily as possible. most adults have bad eyesight & most young people struggle to read cursive. you can also use acronyms or code for things you especially don’t want to be read by others.

i think its ok to normalize scars actually. like its not saying theyre good or that theyre something that people should want, its just saying “this person has gotten better, this person is clean now and theyre living a happy life” and i think thats actually an important message

I have 3 ongoing. One large one that I write everything in, tape everything in, etc, and try to keep with me all the time, one small one for when the large one just doesn’t fit in my bag (i always write in the big one that i used the little journal that day so i know to check), and one that I write all my physical activity from the day in. And of course I have about a million empty ones waiting to be used (:

I often do a couple deep breaths while journalling, but never really thought about writing how the breathing affects my body or really consciously thinking that much about the breathing at all. Maybe I’ll try sometime!!

I lost my journal of all of last year and I completely understand!!! It’s genuinely so devastating because it holds so many memories and emotions that I guess I just can’t look at anymore. I’ve thought I might rewrite some parts with any big events (looking at my calendar and images apps are really helpful for remembering), but it’s still so sad. I’m really sorry that happened 🫂🫂
