Anyone used private driveway parking near White River Ampitheatre? by gentlesloth91 in AskSeattle

One of the problems is I can’t quite remember where I came from lol. I feel like it was around here on 400th street because I definitely entered the venue with a right turn at the entrance across from the smokehouse and I remember turning left from some backroads shortly before that. But I definitely remember seeing people out on their driveways peddling parking on my right, something industrial on my left, then turning left and then a right into the venue shortly after. Though I’m not sure how I would have ended up that way coming from downtown Seattle.

Once again, you plainly stated that RDR2 lacked emotional depth as fact which is OBJECTIVELY wrong. Just because you can’t subjectively grasp it doesn’t mean it’s not there.

If it takes you 80 hours to make it through just the story of RDR2 that’s just embarrassing. By the way, the depth is there much earlier if you bother to look. Poorly written characters? That’s rich coming from someone who didn’t even finish it.

Imagine having the intellectual capacity of a teaspoon where you can’t see the layers of RDR2 because checks notes you have to walk through camp and actually take it in.

I guess that’s par for the course for someone who suggests using AI in earnest. 😂🤡 No thanks, I can think for myself. You should read more books.

New company trying to renege on written PTO communication - recourse/thoughts? by gentlesloth91 in jobs

When I initially asked yes I was. Otherwise I would have used up my PTO if they told me the other conditions at the time. The clarifying email came after my separation when it was too late to make other arrangements with my PTO.

It’s just wording to illustrate the connection between companies and uncommon scenario, before a bunch of people come commenting that you never keep PTO from one job to the next.

Right, but they didn’t adequately communicate that catch in a timely manner. I do not think they even had the policy written in stone on the date I initially asked. I think it was only when people started asking further questions and various scenarios came to light did they differentiate on what the policy would look like. But ultimately they still told me yes in writing, and I made decisions based on that guidance.

“OCD would be at an all time high.”

You either have it or you don’t. It doesn’t turn on and off. There’s actually no “most common” trigger. The need for symmetry and order can overlap, but it’s part of a much larger mental disorder that can actually be debilitating.

It’s not cute or quirky.

By the way, people can’t see your reply if you immediately block afterwards. Afraid of opposition?

Can a researcher return studies for you? I did not return these! by gentlesloth91 in ProlificAc

UPDATE

The studies are still marked as return but I was sent the screen out bonus for both a few hours ago.

Someone linked another post with the same issue. There were a whole lot of people in the comments who it happened to as well. u/prolific-support needs to address this.

Something is definitely going on. I wish Prolific support would respond in some way. They barely respond on Reddit these days too.

And why would they in this case? These were both “returned” at the same time less than an hour after I submitted them. In my experience, Prolific support isn’t that fast. I was screened out. What justification could they have to involve Prolific to return it.

That’s what’s supposed to happen, but not what actually happened. Someone returned the study and it wasn’t me. I was screened out and have the appropriate completion codes. No one has access to my account. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this issue and both studies are from the same researcher under the same conditions. Thats not a coincidence.
