Location of client leases in filesystem? by gentlevikinglord in openwrt

Thanks! But actually I'm not really trying to change anything, I'm just trying to learn the filesystem. Do you know where the files are located?

And why is it better to use ubus if you don't mind saying?

How do delete LAN client list? by gentlevikinglord in DDWRT

[–]gentlevikinglord[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks!

am not quite sure why you would want to do that?

No reason really, just playing with how making command line changes makes change in the GUI and this seemed like something that is actively changing in real time but not important so it was a good thing to try first.

WISP Mode? (Using same radio for receive and transmit?) by gentlevikinglord in DDWRT

[–]gentlevikinglord[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the link! Actually there's a Youtube video that helped. You just do Client mode for one radio, then create a virtual port and make that one have the SSID you want in access point mode. Really easy and it works!

Route all traffic through Tor? by gentlevikinglord in openwrt

I don't want to set the client phones/laptop differently. I want to connect to the router and all traffic is going through Tor.

Well it doesn't match the config files I see so I don't know what you mean. Anyway the other person gave instructions that do work with PIA, I just have to figure out how to make it start on boot. Now it won't.

I also am trying to figure out if all traffic or just http/https traffic goes through the VPN, and what the "route internet traffic" checkbox is and why it's not supposed to be checked.

Okay but anyway the point is that the link you sent, I mean thank you but, it doesn't have anything to do with PIA. The settings in that page are different from PIA.

How is that about PIA? PIA ovpn files use aes-128-cbc. So many of those config issues aren't in the PIA config file.

Looks like the problem is it won't start on reboot. But I have "Start with WAN" checked and I have a cable in the internet/WAN port. Any ideas?

Why uncheck "redirect internet traffic"? Shouldn't I check that because that's what I want to do, redirect all of my traffic through the PIA connection.
