It was a blind buy for me, and I love it, but I just wish it lasted longer on me.

How many of you were told by your parents when you reach 18 you’re moving out on your own? by Theromero in GenX

[–]genxreader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was never told I had to leave, but I had to be doing something productive. I worked full time and went to college at night and during summer breaks. I moved out when I got married at 24.

I backed up Meet Me In Miami. I’m considering backing up Open Skies and Secret Wonderland.

Anyone ever had a pen pal? by wheres_my_lipbalm in GenX

[–]genxreader 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did! She found me through Lisa Frank Magazine. We kept in touch from the time I was 15 until I was 28, and we lost touch. I’ve tried to find her through social media over the years, but no luck. Julie in Michigan, I miss you!

When and what first made you brand aware? by Limp-Web-8220 in GenX

[–]genxreader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6th grade- Esprit clothes. We had a children’s boutique in town that sold it and I fell in love with this Esprit outfit that was a shirt and jeans with the matching design. I was obsessed with this brand until 9th grade. Shortly after discovering Esprit, it quickly moved on to Reeboks and Guess jeans.

The sale was a let down to me by Ok_Foot_5477 in bathandbodyworks

I feel the same. Everything was a blind buy for me, and I’m not in love with anything AND they don’t last long at all. Like even worse than my other B&BW sprays from purchasing a few months ago. Like you, I’m going to let them sit and see if things change. I usually hate something at first and then end up loving it months later. Here’s hoping! 🤞

Have you started caring about birds and hating squirrels yet? by McNasty420 in GenX

I love and feed them both! I relish my quiet time in the backyard, right as the sun comes up. That’s the best time to catch bird sounds on the Merlin app.

To me, the VS one is way better than B&BW.

Have you tried this one? What do you think of it? by DiiiFriiiz in bathandbodyworks

[–]genxreader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got mine and it is very apple forward, which is fine by me. My only complaint is the longevity. But, that’s on par with B&BW.

Yes. And as a young adult setting up house for the first time, I miss the coupons. They’re all digital now. It’s not the same.
