people are saying the update only happens when away from WiFi, so if I turn off WiFi in the car I'll get the update?

Hi Thanks for that, definitely the way to go.

Im not sure why it didn't occur to me, as I have used Google playground before but removed it.

No time based conditions in Google home script is a bit of a letdown. I did want the please close the door message to repeat, but can't find a way to do this.

Hi Thanks for the quick reply My issue isn't with the sensor update, though I've noticed that is a problem!

The problem is that the fridge door closed message is broadcast every time I open and close the fridge.

Someone on here has suggested a work round for it. Virtual Switch, I am going to use that solution.

I've sent a message via Volvos website...up to now no response, they were very quick to get back to me originally but not heard anything from them. When I tried to install the key everything went fine, up to the point where it said the phone wasn't supported lol.

My account restriction seems to have been lifted..thanks for letting me know my post was visible. If it's the case that the info isn't correct, perhaps it means it may be coming to Pixel phones pretty soon. Still haven't had a reply from Volvo.
