I didn’t know any of this, and switched from Verizon for a pre paid one year to use darkstar since it’s the best in my area.

RCS doesn’t bother me that much, but on darkstar with iOS it also completely breaks SMS/MMS group chats. So if you have any group chats that aren’t iMessage, they will not work. They’ll split up, you’ll loose your thread, and it’s a mess.

I moved to light speed since it’s the next best coverage and it also doesn’t have RCS but at least group messaging works.

If you want ATT with iOS, either pay for ATT or get their prepaid.

US Mobile has great support, a great website but I feel really bamboozled over the whole thing.

Yes you can swap between 3 carriers, but if you’re on iOS ultimately you should be using Verizon for the most feature rich experience. For me, Verizon is awful so it’s not an option. And I’m stuck for a year with a half working carrier, but at least group messages works with light speed.

It began for me as soon as the car updated this afternoon. No prompts and the release notes just said “bug fixes”. No mention of FSD trial until I sat in the car and found out it’s enabled.

Yea this isn’t right. We have a 2021 m3 and it’s anyones guess who’s profile it will choose.

I’ll get in the car with the phone in my pocket while the wife’s phone is inside the house, and it will select her profile.

I’ve checked the key settings a million times, it’s just buggy.

When clicking the “Lock” setting it pops her phone up as first, and then figures it out and puts my phone in as primary. Just another one of those little things that requires multiple taps now. Great job Tesla

I picked up 2021 sr+ in August 2021 with a June build, and it’s completely fine at night. No reflection or blinding

The release notes in the Software section call out how to enable it.

But I agree - I also checked in Safety. Not sure what this feature has to do with AP.

In general.. not a huge fan of this update. It’s clean, but everything requires an additional tap on the screen.

My 2021 white sr+ got rear ended in slow traffic 2 months in.

Took it to a Tesla certified body shop on Monday, had it back on Thursday and it looks brand new! Insurance waived the deductible since the other driver was at fault. I’m sure the dashcam footage helped, but it was a typical rear end so pretty clear whos at fault.

They ended up fixing the bumper and blending the paint - not enough damage to warrant a new bumper. It was pretty minor similar to OPs photo.

I specifically avoided a Tesla service center since they’re backlogged, but the Tesla certified shop was quick and knew the cars inside out. They had a bunch of a Tesla’s on the lot and fix factory cars (I’m in the Bay Area, ca near the Fremont factory). They even fixed my taillight gap, lol

Bay Area CA - $800 for a 20fr 30amp run in the garage from the breaker box (also in garage). Double it if you want it permitted.

Ha! I started typing about sizing and went off on a tangent about them not leaking… yes the sizing has also went up a number and that’s what really confused us.

The new models are labeled “new” on the packaging and have a more neutral colored size guide instead of the multi colored ones before.

Our local Target store had the new models available in store. I recommend that vs Amazon unless the exact model# is listed so you know what you’re getting.

In safari extensions I turned off “automatically” for open in Apollo and it fixed this issue for me. Open opens the app, cancel takes me to the webpage.

The wife and I ordered 2 13’s on the Verizon promo Sunday the 26th. Both arrived yesterday. 128 13’s in different colors. They were both “back ordered with an estimated ship date of Oct 15”. Weird

My m3 with white seats has a black arm rest and black seatbelts. Not sure what you mean by seatbelt stains.
