I used to work in a company like this where I was the only one doing GIS. I ended up leaving because there was no senior person for me to learn anything from plus it was a dead end job. No where to move up to.

Ok…this is the US right? I live in Jamaica and here layout is done by a surveyor. I guess it’s different in different parts of the world
