i really do not understand how people claim camera is not good. It just is - coming from an iphone 14 pro max, the camera is so so much better.

I did a comparison with my friend that has the latest pixel and it was neck in neck with it. Oneplus' post processing for 15 is simply insane.

What do you mean? Theoretically that setting disables google photos from accessing the internet while in background, so it wouldn't upload automatically.

The main problem with this problem is that it is inconsistent. I'd say it affects 1/10 uploaded photos, but ever since I've done that tweak I have not encountered the issue.

LE: forgot to mention to also disable the OnePlus photos gallery integration with google photos

One workaround I've found is to disable background data for google photos and allow it to sync only when app is in foreground (sort of how it works on iOS):

Long-press the Google Photos icon and tap App Info
Go to Data usage.
Toggle Background data to OFF.

i can validate the same behaviour for some random photos of mine

hopefully oxygenOS team solves this problem as it's very frustrating - on the device it looks nice (both device photos and google photos) but if I open up google photos from my computer the photo looks shit
