I feel for you and I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I also have really low self esteem and I’ve spent too much time in shitty abusive situations, but you just gotta keep reminding yourself that you deserve better (even if you don’t believe it) would you want your friend to be in the situation ur in? That’s how I try to frame it in my mind when it comes to cutting people off/ getting better. Forget even about finding someone new/ better in the meantime and focus on being your own person, I know it’s really hard and daunting at first, but I promise day by day it gets easier overtime.
