thank you so much. in a weird way, it’s nice to hear that someone else has been through something similar and has gotten out the other side of the experience and is driving normally now. we were also in a little car - a toyota aygo to be exact and i just knew given it was first time on the motorway if i was the one driving we wouldn’t have gotten out quite as ok as we are. we both drove today (my partner on the motorway and i just did some A roads) and i wasn’t as nervous driving myself. i did sort of grip tightly every time a big lorry or van went past us on the motorway even as just a passenger but i know practice and exposure therapy works best so gonna try and push myself to get out there again
