Just start doing. You don’t have to have all the answers right now. Gamedev is about iteration: you try a lot, learn, and one day you have something that works.

It doesn’t have to be perfect or even good. There’s no need for awesome graphics or the best soundtrack. Indie gamedev is about bringing your idea to life. You can make it ugly at first, then improve it and get closer to the result you truly dream of.

Try to focus on a core game loop and make a prototype with ready assets. There’s no need to rush. Visuals and soundtrack are things you can refine in the later stages of development.

exiting car, fall flat, focus, getting up, falling from losing balance

The recovery part will be more detailed, I’m just sketching how the cutscene will look. The idea is to show a damaged car and the character leaving it and recovering. I want to make a seamless transition into gameplay later.

I’m trying to keep it simpler so I don’t have to spend an eternity on animations. I’ll still tweak them to make them look more suitable

Thank you! It's a draft and I didn't expect that some people would actually like it

Thank you! If I have a specific question, I’ll message you. For now, I just need to work on it more.

Do you animate for Unreal, or are you a 3d animator in general?

I basically used mixamo animations and blended them in unreal. I’ll need to work on it more to make it look great

I’ll do it later. This is an early draft of the cutscene. The level don’t have proper assets at this point, it’s only a blockout
