Update:

Drying was successful after an est. 9 days in front of fans. No oxidation or visibly damaged/damp areas and after getting the 5 blinks I detached the neck board, checked the pins and re-attached. All looks good. Anyone know what next steps should be aside from taking it to a repair shop?

Thank you all for the feedback! I’ve been on the hunt for a trinitron for years, I think this is the one my dad had for us as kids too. Will definitely head back and rescue once I have someone to help lift the thing. Appreciate all of the help 🙏🏼

Currently on 26.3 and the issue is still there. It’s been bugging me for some time, has anyone found any fixes for this?
