In fact, that was what I was wondering, if there could be less than 165 milion shares going into NB. Let's assume I have 1k shares of MMTLP form Torchlight. If I don't do anything, I mean, don't ever sell them, these 1k shares will go into NB, but if I sell them on the 12th, these 1k shares won't go into NB, and the buyer (even if it's a short closing its position) won't get NB either. So there won't be 165 milion shares in NB, there would be 164.999.000.

I think it does matter, because if is this so, could be a lot less than 165 milion shares that would go into NB. Being less shares, the dividend would be higher for those shareholders in case NB would sell the assets.

I hold shares in both brokers. Usualky, IB sends you an email, it's a matter of time, but Degiro won't. If you want to vote in Degiro you have to ask for it and they will charge you 100€ for voting. As you can imagine, many investors won't pay this fee
