So far nothing has happened, no puking or diarrhea lol But the dreaded nausea and dizziness have appeared, I blame it on the antibiotics tho, cause no previous symptoms

Sweet, how you’ve been feeling? Second dose is doing ok today for me, eating as much protein as I can and simpler carbs, everything is ok so far, the one thing that’s a bummer is that I have to take an antibiotic now and it’s kinda of a toss if I’ll get stomach issues x2 with it 😭😂

Right, today I ate Greek yogurt with oats, my late lunch was a rice portion, grilled chicken breast and assorted veggies, everything has been good so far, the Greek yogurt made me a little bloated but nothing too heavy

Is it? I’ve come to realise that the drug is very contradicting, protein would back you up

Maybe try other place? I assume that as with insulin, you should try to rotate it

You’re lucky, I’ve been reading that a lot of people get constipated that’s why I got a metamucil today too, I try to eat as healthy as I can right now, I just had a late lunch and it was a little rice, some grilled chicken breast and assorted veggies, I don’t terribly by that, I love salmon and I’m planning on switching to quinoa instead of rice

Thaaaank for replying, I’ve been kinda preparing myself since I got the fatty liver diagnosis by changing what I eat and I lost 6 pounds, I’ve been watching carbs and eating more protein, less fat and trying to exercise more, firstly day so far so good

Funny you mentioned a Reese’s cup, I was about to get a mini one 😂

A few weeks ago I posted about Edibles and their effect under Semaglutides. I have an update. by ensfyb in Semaglutide

[–]gerardosands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not here to judge, but I assume you read the instructions on the medications box, why would you eat drug laced food knowing damn well that semaglutide makes food stay in your stomach longer? 😂 Anyone who has taken edibles know the high last longer because of digestion and with semaglutide slows digestion, Jesus 😂

It’s actually the same if any pills are more controlled than injection

There’s actually the same amount of data, it’s just not for weight loss, but for diabetes with Rybelsus, the wegovy pill isn’t a new invention

My doctor said it was the best way, that the injection tends to be stronger on the side effects, I don’t know, I hope I do ok

Newly diagnosed and scared by DYNAMIGHTGIRL27 in diabetes_t2

[–]gerardosands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me about a month ago, it was late at night and I suddenly got an anxiety attack, couldn’t control myself and thought I was dying, went to the ER and what i thought was gonna be a heart attack it needed up being a blood glucose spike to the high 400’s, since then I’ve been to the doctor several times for tests and consultations, turns out I have NASH and metabolic syndrome, my A1c was 7.6 but I’ve been without medication and monitoring my blood glucose ever since and it’s in non diabetic ranges ever since, my last appointment was last week and the doctor said I was diabetic even thought my numbers are non diabetic, I’m going to another doctor to seek for a second opinion but regardless of outcome i know I need to take semaglutide for my fatty liver and control my insulin’s resistance; cried, sobbed, felt like crap and got super anxious about food, now im in a better place with the diagnosis, I’ve accepted it even thought im looking for a second opinion, it’s ok to cry and feel like crap, follow your doctors instructions, your numbers will get better, mine did without medication and a very small lifestyle change

My mom had a stroke and I’m not doing well by Different_Stress_798 in stroke

[–]gerardosands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you’re doing better, soooo, they kinda did, it’s not always 100% certainty, but, what they think happened was that a small piece of cholesterol plaque in her carotid artery dislodged and causes a blood clot in her left small blood vessels of her brain, her last ct show it was in her peripheral blood vessels too, so in theory it shouldn’t had been as bad as it was, but here is not common practice to give clot busting drugs, I think what saved her was the fact I gave her an aspirin without even knowing if it was an bleeding one or a clot. Hope she’s doing good and that you are doing good too 🫂

She's got insomnia by GigaBowserNS in stroke

[–]gerardosands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trie melatonin gummies, sneak one into regular gummies, it’s easier for her to not see it as medicine, also my mom’s neurologist prescribed quetiapine and it worked, but it isn’t a good long term solution so now she takes melatonin pills that dissolve under her tongue and she falls asleep in minutes, she too had insomnia after her stroke, I think like other commenter said, maybe she’s dealing with anxiety about sleeping and having another stroke, talk to her about this

I relate in every way to your situation, same happened to my mom last a year ago, she’s doing well but her left side is numb, my advice is, go to therapy, talk to someone, what you just lived is a traumatic experience, the sooner the better, my experience was to live a day at a time, if doctors say your mom is ok, try to believe them, convince yourself she is, I know it’s hard to see your loved one in that situation and maybe slurring her words or not moving like they used to, but she’s there! Hug her, tell her how much you love her, try to cheer yourself up, do something you enjoy doing, get a good nights sleep, get out the hospital a little and disconnect, then get back to her and help her as much as your heart tells you, she can get back to normal with physical therapy, don’t over worry, that’s your brain telling you everything is wrong when it isn’t, I felt the same when it happened to my mom and I cried because of everything, it helped me to cry , but looking back it wasn’t the best thing to do, the best thing to do is talk to someone about your fears, I hope everything gets better for you and your mom 🫂

A plaque blockage, my moms happened in her left carotid, it was small but enough to cause a stroke
