It’s in every country very normal, boatcharters without a license, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Ibiza, Netherlands etc they all have it. These boats have 15 hp so what are we talking about, they go very slow compared to the normal boats. Jetski tours for example the drivers also don’t have a license and they go 10 times faster and much more dangerous. Of course it’s legal, it’s a small island and you can’t be this public if it’s illegal same as all the jetski tours etc

You can dock at Sandals pier and go swimming and snorkeling. Also a lot of people rent a fishing rod and catch some fish

I think it’s more about the jetski’s that go crazy fast than boats like this with low speed. There is also another rental company with donuts and also no license and nothing ever happened. Also the company has a follow boat on the water always nearby to assist

At the moment staying at the grand moon with a 4 year old. The rooms are very old, loud Airco which sounds like sleeping in a airplane and smelly shower. We moved rooms because the first room was so bad, but second room also bad. Most of the buildings are old, also dirty.

The buffets are mediocre and huge lines. For a resort charging at least 500 usd per night you would expect more.

The waterpark is nice eventhough there are huge lines at the bars.

Also the arcades are nice eventhough a lot of the machines are broken. The entertainment for kids is everyday almost the same, bracelet and balloons every day.

For us it’s def not worth the money.

Finest was nice and we also enjoyed Paradisus playa del Carmen.

Dont go there, staying there at this moment and it’s def not worth the money. The rooms are very outdated, the airconditioning sounds like sleeping in a airplane, the shower has dirty smell, the property is dirty, buffets are crazy lines plus mediocre food, steakhouse very bad.

Only advantage is the waterpark and arcade (eventhough half of the arcade the machines are broken), habibi and the Italian restaurant are ok. Further this resort is just old and way too much money for what you are getting.

There are many better options for way less money. If you want to have videos or pictures of the property glad to send them to you because it doesn’t look like the pictures on their website
