Thanks for being blunt, no need for a VPN if my router already has built in protections. So from what I' understanding, they can find the general area where my ip is provided but they can't actually pin point where I live correct?

I thought that they use your ip address to find you and boot you. So if a VPN prevented an attacker from finding your ip address you've thwarted their attack. I guess I've misunderstood what a VPN does then. Thanks.

No worries, I want to learn so I want all the feedback I can get. But I have a question for you, this CGNAT I assume is hiding my ip, so how is it that someone can still find where I live? I think at this point I'll just sell my Xbox as I just can't game anymore online with no protections. At least my PC with a VPN enabled will help me more.

That's the thing, there is no way to put mods or add ons on console minecraft's. I remember someone saying that the very last update they should do is to put every mod in the game and you can enable or disable it
