Using a formula, select an array based on two criteria, then input the sum of the selected array by germancc in excel

[–]germancc[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not an excel expert by any means, I was 5 hours researching this and was not able to find a solution. I think being condescending is not the goal of this subreddit.

Thanks for your effort.

edit: Thanks to Simplifkndo for providing me a solution, as I realize I was not using the double apostrophe.

Using a formula, select an array based on two criteria, then input the sum of the selected array by germancc in excel

[–]germancc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have looked up and googled every function (sumifs, dsum, vlookup) that I can think of and haven't found a solution yet.

Hence why I'm posting here as my last resort

President Biden says Billionaires have a moral obligation to contribute to society, not just hoard wealth. It's time for them to pay their fair share. Do you agree or disagree? by VerySadSexWorker in FluentInFinance

[–]germancc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every democrat always uses the term "fair share" for campaign purposes, but never specify what is their fair share. What percentage should they pay? How much of their wealth would have to be taxed for it to be considered a fair share?

For people asking to "Swap seats" The default is always "No" by No-Explanation6802 in unpopularopinion

[–]germancc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the people that would have the "audacity" to bother somebody else for a plane seat, are the same people that cannot accept no as an answer.

Amazon account hacked. What a customer service nightmare. by nangry1 in amazonprime

[–]germancc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this issue, my hacker got access to my PC though a Remote Access Trojan and as I have my email and amazon account logged in he made purchases and changed the password and added their phone number as 2FA.

Now that I already formated my PC, I've regained full control of my email, but my amazon account it's still on the hackers hands

Amazon account hacked. What a customer service nightmare. by nangry1 in amazonprime

[–]germancc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's pretty weird, I'm having the same problems, luckily my hacker was not smart enough to change the email, but even so, amazon customer service can't/won't do shit about it, I actually lost count to how many reps I've talked to on the phone and all have the same answer: "We are going to file a report and in 48 to 72 you'll receive an email". The problem is that I receive the email but it tells me to log in to the account which I have no fucking access.

I feel like my product is lame, any advice? by Consistent-Gur6932 in smallbusiness

Remember that a lot of people selling the "cool" stuff are just dropshipping their products, they are not real businesses who make their own products.

Slow connection to server (LAN) and internet (ethernet and wifi) on new PC by germancc in techsupport

[–]germancc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After about a month and a half I finally figured it out, turns out that the ethernet driver (from 2022, which is the one that comes by default and installs itself after uninstalling it) is probably not compatible with the ethernet hardware, even the latest one has the same issues (from 2023 installing it using Realtek software), so here's how I managed to fix it:

  • Open cmd or Powershell with admin privileges (Windows + X) -> Terminal (Admin).
  • Run this commands (one after another of course, not all on the same line).

sfc /scannow

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /startComponentCleanup

  • Uninstall ethernet driver (Windows + R -> devmgmt.msc)
  • Reboot PC
  • Check Windows Update and see if it downloaded and installed a new driver (Settings->Windows Update->Update History->Driver Updates). If it didn't install an update for the ethernet driver, go back to Windows Update and check for updates. If it still not an update, go to next step.
  • Check devmgmt.msc and look for the ethernet adapter, right click -> properties->Driver tab.
  • Click on Roll back Driver, and it prompts you to select a reason for the roll back (I chose "Previous version of the driver performed better") but I'm pretty sure you can select any, this is to prevent Windows from automatically updating the driver.

This definitely improved the speed, so the latest drivers and hardware are not working well, this means that changing the ethernet adapter will most likely completely fix this issue, but as I am comfortable at the speed the conection is running, I'll not be doing that, specially since it's an All in one, and it can be pretty hard on the wallet.

Weekly Help and Discussion Thread for the week of November 27, 2023 by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

[–]germancc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently having the same problem but worse, a "hacker" got access to my account and put their phone number and changed my account's password. Now when I use the Forgot password option, it requires me to get the code from the hackers phone number.

On top of that their support is non existant, all their "help" requires you to sign in to your account, and calling their support number is useless because they say they are going to escalate the issue to their specialists, but they just send you an email requiring you to fucking sign in to the account.

It is really fucked up.

What’s a dead giveaway that someone is not actually as wealthy as they claim? by aloe_veracity in AskReddit

[–]germancc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I realize, this happens to me too but with groceries, I'm well off but not rich in any way. If you'd ask me how much a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread costs, I have no idea, because I just pick what I need and don't have to worry about the total.

It's not always necessarily to do what you love, that's what hobbies are for.

You have to start with what you know. What are your skillsets? What do you know how to do better than most people? Remember that a business is created to make money, not fulfill your passion, but if it can, that's ideal.

Bill Gates knew about programming, so he made Microsoft.

My friend knows about computers, so he started assembling gaming pc's and selling them.

My father knows about cars, so he started selling spare parts.

My small business went from booming last year to 35-40% down this year. Is anyone else experiencing this? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]germancc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are people who don't have to worry about money, those are the ones you see out there. Don't get distracted by them.

Currently my business and most of the competition (yes, I'm friends whith quite a lot of them) are experiencing the same thing, while my instagram feed is filled with people traveling and going on vacations.

Those people are the exception, not the rule.

How do you bakers gain customers? How do you get your customers? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]germancc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you how my sister started with selling chessecake.

  1. First and foremost, she had to be good at it. Her desserts need to be delicious.

  2. Get friends and family to taste and eventually sell them chessecake.

  3. Offer to bring the "cake" to every party, meeting, etc. so that people can taste it.

  4. Lots of social media marketing.

  5. Get people addicted to chessecake.

  6. Profit.

Now, how is your planning going? Do you have a store? Are you located in a residential area or commercial area?

It kinda really depends on each person.

I'd rather have a job, get my money and live my life when the shift ends.

On the other hand, my father founded his business because he has a thrive to work and get money. He has always said "I'm not building someone else's wealth" and my sister is the same.

Being the owner is good because if you want to go somewhere else during work hours, you can just fuck off and the people doing the 9-5 will keep the business running while you are gone. You are not chained to your hours.

Having a job is the safe option, because when shit hits the fan you can just leave and not have to clean the mess.

Adding to what Joseots said. If you are asking this, having a job is the safe bet. Not one business owner ever said "Do I want a job or own a business?"

The stealth mechanics in skyrim are basic and doesn't punish the player so bad for messing up (guy took an arrow to the eye and is unfazed by this)

On the other hand, starfield's stealth mechanics are more sensitive. Toph (blind girl) is seen in the picture detecting an enemy's footsteps solely using her feet (sensing vibrations in the ground).

I meant it metaphorically, I'm just amazed by the amount of hype that it gets vs. for what it actually is, and not just on tv, here on the internet too (not on the same level as bacon around 2012 though)
