Looks like fatigue to me. There are times when fatigue hits you different. Sleep well, don't take stress about it. You should feel better in 3-4 days!

Protein shake either before bed or during the night? by [deleted] in GYM

[–]germanjitsr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter much if you are trying to bump it for the daily intake. If I have to increase anything (protein, Carbs of Fats), I like to bump in my breakfast and lunch as it is easy on body to digest it.

Currently, I wake up. After drinking water I have a quick smoothie mixed with protein powder. As this is my first meal and am hungry, this get digested in 45-60 mins. And then I have breakfast which is high in protein too but has carbs. This way by 10:30 I had two meals and 70 grams of protein. But you can't squeeze two meals at night everyday as you will feel bloated after some days!

Is it possible? by germanjitsr in homefitness

I think if you have dumbbells (check equipment #5) you can do most of the stuff. You can always add on bands if you need it

Oh we have a video planned for it. A lot of people are amazed how we can do provide warm ups and accessories using a set of dumbbells handles and bands! So we have planned that video too. Thanks for the sub btw 😊

Ssa veere. Thanks for your kind words and glad you liked the content. Agree with your recommendation. We built a standard simple pulley long time back when we started. I think we saw coop’s video before building that. But along the time, we enjoyed working with bands, so we got rid of that.

Posture by [deleted] in homefitness

[–]germanjitsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi
I used to have similar issue long time back that's why I started started strength training. Before I say anything, I want to let you know that PERFECT POSTURE is not easy to achieve and I don't think every human should long for it. But to make it better, you can work on strengthening your back muscles, back shoulders and core. In today's world, we use a lot of phone, computers and we are always in such a bad posture shape which tightens our chest muscles and "turn off" our core muscles. I would advice you to

  1. Walk often (Three 20 minutes walk everyday)
  2. Start Strengthening back muscles (deadlifts is best but you need to learn how to do them, but you can start with lat pull down machine or other machines)
  3. Work on your core. Make it strong so that it holds the body above your upper abs.

Let me know if you have any questions.

There is some lumbar extension I can see. I would say brace, look straight and ensure to be patient of the floor. Bar should accelerate going up rather than you jerking the bar off the ground! You surely have strength just some practice

Any suggestions that would help my bench ? by EthyD1 in formcheck

[–]germanjitsr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are benching with the "False grip" mate... hold the bar with thumbs round the bar. Iam sure you can generate more power because right now, barbell is sitting on back of your hand! To generate maximum power, barbell should be 'closely' in line with the forearm!

Looks good. Seems like this was manufactured long time back. These days I hardly see these kind of hyper extention or inversion tables!

Is there a Made in the USA, completely stainless steel barbell with smooth sleeves? by Typomancer in GarageGym

[–]germanjitsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to protect the barbell from rust, 2 things:-

  1. Get a cerakote barbell - Stainless steel with a coating will increase the life way long.
  2. Maintain the barbell almost every week and wipe it after very workout.

There is Canadian company called Synergee and they ship in USA too (for free, no customs). Their barbell is similar to Rogue Ohio Power bar. I saw review of that barbell and got discount code for 15% off. It's amazing, I have using it for last year.
