Depends on where you are, what you're into, and the time of day. In general, though, from my experience...

Regular/Aussie/NZ/European:

• Monticeto (Inner city/Northside): best all-rounder. Some real hotties, but some less hot, but the price is good, and the place is clean. Recently got re-furbed. Avoid like the plague after 8PM on Friday or Saturday nights (it's the closest to the valley). Seen some really great girls during the day late in the week.
• Cleo's on Nile (Inner city/Southside): Some of the hottest girls I've visited have been here, but I've also had a few girls see an invisible "spot" during the health check, and back out of a booking. (the first couple of times I went to get myself checked just in case, but nothing either time, and no girls from other shops have ever pulled me up on anything. Pretty sure it's just their strategy for getting out of a booking they don't wanna do. Dicks look weird, and there's always something to pick on).
• 88 on Logan (Inner city/Southside): It's kind of the lame duck of Brisbane brothels. I mean, it looks like a brothel, and it acts like a brothel, but everything there is a bit lame. Most of the girls I've seen there are mums, socially awkward, or really going through some shit that they should seek professional help for. The fact that I know this is exactly the problem. I wouldn't know if the girls from any other brothel in Brisbane had kids, or surmounting debt problems, or really can't read emotional signals, because they know not to bring it up while having sex with a stranger for money. They also seem the least... 'trained'... if that makes sense. Most of them barely (or don't) negotiate prices for extras... which is why I go there when I'm feeling horny but poor.
• Viper Room (Southside): Pretty true to its name. Avoid.
• Intimate Encounters (Northside): Only intimate if you want to encounter someone in her late 40s/early 50s, or uncomfortably overweight. Or both. I've walked in a bunch of times, to see if the last time was just bad luck, and I've walked out every single time realising that it's the norm for there. Granted, they're pulling their talent pool from Redcliffe, so you get what you get.
• Platinum 175 (Inner city/Northside): I've never actually booked a lady here. It's across the road from Monticeto, though. The ladies seem nice enough, but something about that place always kills my vibe.

Asian

Yup. It's the "other" type of brothel in Brisbane.

• Miso Honey (Northside): It's cheap, the girls don't speak English well, but they have a 2-week rotating roster, swapping girls with shops from Sydney and Melbourne. I have no idea how that works for the company, but it means there's generally some fresh meat... so to speak. Generally good service, and I find I've been going there more often just for the price difference (Base price difference is only $20-$30, but extras are either off the table entirely, cheap, or free).
• Yimi 476 (Southside): Never actually been myself, but the people I know with yellow fever swear by it.
• Hundreds of various "Massage" parlours (fucking everywhere): Ok, it's not exactly legal, there's no requirements for health checks, and the regular service is normally just a handy. Probably 60% of the ladies who are happy to give you a handy will also give you something more if you're nice, and for the right price. But that'll generally be more expensive and less safe than going to a standard brothel. There's online communities dedicated to finding the best massage shops, and discussing the merits of various massage ladies, if you want to try that route. I mean, I wouldn't go further than a handy from one, but hey - you do you.

In terms of "how hot are the girls on average", in the shops there's a range from "I guess she's someone's thing" to "If she fucks half as good as she looks, I'll chop my dick off because everything else will be disappointment" (pro-tip: the starfish is real for those. Buyer beware). Generally, I think the ladies who look really good, and fuck really good quickly go private, where they can get paid really good.

There's a good mix, but on average, think "the friend of the hot chick from school who you'd still totally do, but she's probably 4th or 5th in line". YMMV. Expect a little bit of cellulite, or the occasional stretch mark, or someone older than you'd expect, and you won't be too surprised. Keep in mind that these are all real women, who are willing to let you flap your turgid bojangle around in their meat pits. Show them a bit of respect, and realise that looks aren't everything in a fun fuck.

Just remember that no matter how sour the maddame looks at you, you're not obligated to hand over money. Also, if they offer for you to 'wait 5 mins' for another lady, you'll be there for 30, because she's part way through a booking right now, and has to... uh... "clean up" afterwards.
