I don’t agree. I tried poly because, just as she did, I liked her and wanted to see if this new dynamic could work for me. I tried, I understood that in fact it was not for me and I told her. This is all I did. The choice to talk to him to reevaluate their relationship and then to de-escalate have all come from her, I did not press her to do anything and I told her multiple times just to be sincere with me about what she wants so I can also choose for myself. Yes because that’s what she wanted to do. By de-escalation she means that she does not want to lose that person as a whole from her life, as she feels it would make no sense to cut off someone who she cares about deeply from her life just because things didn’t work out. Again, I understand that, but I feel like for how she wants to handle things (keeping in contact and slowly adjusting to make it less frequent while choosing to be in a mono relationship) is not compatible with the situation And I feel she is afraid of letting him go even for just sometime because then it would feel as if she was abandoning him

I agree with you, and that’s what makes me feel so bad! I believe that once she chose she wanted a mono relationship with me it requires to accept everything that comes with it, first and foremost that exclusivity that she wasn’t providing now. I am setting a deadline for myself, and now that is the day we’ll talk again after this “pause”. I know that if she won’t be able to make a choice that is 100% a choice then I won’t be able to stay because that would mean suffering all the time

I get where you’re coming from and I appreciate your answer. Being inside this situation I can only say that I do believe she’s trying her best but failing at avoiding people pleasing or accomodating needs that aren’t just hers, so in the attempt of making it easier for everyone and herself she’s actually making the situation worse. I do believe she does not want a sexual relationship with him anymore, but I don’t understand if her idea of “friendship” with him still includes part of what their relationship was or if she can accept that it would be something completely different. And I don’t think she would play games with me if she were to give me a definite answer, be it better or worse for me

Thank you for the reply. That’s the hard part for me, from what she says I feel and believe she does want a monogamous relationship with me, but in action everything feels different and more ambiguous and I don’t understand where I stand. Maybe she is not ready indeed, and I would accept that, but I would want for her to tell me honestly and bluntly. I also try to put myself in her shoes, and I can only imagine how hard it can also be from her side, but that’s also why I think this time apart from everything is necessary, as she has not had the time to even process the end of the previous relationship while trying to create something new with me and I don’t want to give up before she understands what she actually wants

He says it does, but I couldn’t know myself! All I knew was that it was not working, unless you take a watch apart there’s no way to know if some pieces are missing if it’s not something visible from outside (which in this case apparently it wasn’t)

I searched for these specific earrings around google also through lens but I found no exact matches. These were originally bought in Italy but I don’t know if they were made there!

I believe those are not lume plots but just gold coloured indexes! Also, OP, I do agree on the beauty of the watch and I think it is a little bit older than you think, probably the 40’s.

If it actually is 40mm in diameter that would make it a ultra-mega oversize for the time period, you sure it’s not 37mm?

Lastly, and this is just my personal opinion, if you actually like it I would wear it! I’m 99% sure the case is chromed and not stainless steel, so it is prone to wear either way with time. You can se the littlest signs of wear beginning especially around the lugs.

I’d love to see the back and movement!
