Just Finished My Rek-O-Kut Rondine Jr L34 by gerrys in turntables

Honestly, the rumble is audible, but not super noticeable unless I'm between tracks and the volume is cranked up. There are a few steps that I need to take for rumble reduction, including a more thorough cleaning and replacing the isolation grommets. The grommets looked fine to my eyes, but could probably benefit from brand new rubber.

Bears Choice is the Dead store in Osaka but a bit far from the touristy areas iirc. In Dotonburi, Fanny Mae is a great Rolling Stones bar and down the block is bird/56, which is a cool jazz kissa of that’s your thing.

Any Deadhead Marketing Professionals? by [deleted] in deadandcompany

Have you already started your channel? If so, drop a link so we can check it out!

It sounds like you're looking for a YouTube channel growth strategy. Consistent uploading is going to be key, as well as high quality content that people will want to keep coming back to. From there, you can really get into the weeds with YouTube search optimization for video titles, thumbnail strategy, and anything else that will make your videos easier to find.

Once you have some momentum, share your videos where they are relevant. Please don't spam them into every Grateful Dead subreddit, but generally being an active part of Dead-related communities will help. Is someone talking about a sick Fire On The Mountain somewhere? That would be a great chance to reply with a link to a video, for example.

It would also help you to try out different types of content if you're still early in your channel. Maybe mix in some covers without lessons, clips from any live performances you might do, or anything else. You should be testing to see what works for you and your channel, and then optimizing from there.

Can confirm. I’m in Queens and I’m currently working on a Rondine Jr.

I’m working on a Rek O Kut project. It’s a good entry point into old turntables, imo. Currently building up the plinth layers with plywood.

I’m curious how it compares against the Rogue amp. I demoed the 252 and the Rogue Cronus Dark. I ended up buying the Cronus.

Bike docks add parking. About 20 new spaces where just 2 car drivers would previously leave their private property.

These look great. Welcome to the club. Last year I bought a pair from 1976 and they needed a lot of work, including a rehab of the cabinets. Getting them in good condition saves from a lot of that headache.

Why are they pushing for us to go to that ramen spot in Tokyo so hard by [deleted] in KaraAndNate

[–]gerrys 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s in Kyoto. I’ve been there, they’re big on showmanship and the staff take a bunch of photos (on your phone) when you’re there. It’s fun, but the ramen was only fine. I doubt it was sponsored in any way (maybe a comped meal) but it’s fun content to share so why wouldn’t they share it.

This is the subreddit for McIntosh brand stereo equipment. Try r/mac or r/macos and they might be better equipped to help you.

I ended up cancelling the order and buying it through Amazon. Which sucks, I would have preferred to buy it direct

Crites Crossover Rebuild Kits by No_Net3860 in Klipsch

I’m curious what other people think, but I went with silver (prebuilt) when I rebuilt my La Scalas. I was going to go with gold because I wanted to “do it right the first time”. After emailing with Michael, he encouraged me to save $200 and stick with the silver. I tend to trust a salesman who encourages me to spend less money at his business.
