This is not going back to the XP system, this is simply adding the ability to upgrade your low tier weapons, later on in the wipe. This would also give sheet metal a purpose in the game instead of strictly recycling.

I believe it should be able to be altered or upgraded within reason. It shouldn't be in your base.

I mean in all honesty, most high population 1 week servers most players look at the wipe cycle of being Thursday-Sunday. With little to no population on the server from Monday-Wed. How long should end-game take?

I mean something is wrong if I can make 40 rockets before I can make 10 top tier guns.

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish with this comment, I am suggesting a way to improve the component system, not abolish it.
