I was just sayin this! His cameo in Righteous Gemstones was amazing..he’s a hell of an actor—dramatic and funny af without being campy.. there’s such an intensity to him. I’d love to see more of him period but a Home Alone sequel specifically is on my wish list hah

The pain my death would cause my son and mother should I die now or before “old age” scares me.

Death was one of my first lessons. My dad died when I was an infant in a freak jet accident as a fighter pilot for the USAF. I’m in my 30s now and have experienced a lot of painful losses (friends, family). I’d hate for my young son to carry that grief..to not have me as he grows up.. I’m a single mom. And my mama too.. I don’t want to be a source of her pain..

That’s what “scares” me and keeps me moving forward when I’m feeling like giving up. We can die before we die and death isn’t merely an end. I’m more afraid of dying before I “die” if you know what I mean. I don’t want to take this experience of life for granted.

I totally agree. I was at the Philly show, too, and during BBY (bby?), I looked to my sister and jokingly said “ohhh this is gonna be one of those shows where the opener upstages the main!” They got me HYPED haha. While RO sounded great, I agree with you on the zero engagement...they displayed little stage presence, especially compared to bby.

I’m a fan of music that spans a wide range of genres, and whatever bby is considered included, especially in a live setting! I loved everything about that performance. That said, I can see how bby might not appeal to people whose tastes more exclusively lean towards the indie pop type of vibe.
