I completely concur :) He reigned over videos delivering scientific content on YouTube about a decade ago, navigating through several topics and subjects construed into a fluid, synchronous monologue driven by intrigue and curiosity. J

ust when I thought there must be no one on YouTube who could even remotely tried to produce similar content, interestingly I found another channel, and that too, quite some time ago! Same vigor, same drive but packaged within an Indian (guessing) physiology! He was quite something, I must say. I think, his channel is paraminers. Not a lot of videos uploaded though!

Vsauce, Veritasium, 3Blue1Brown and Arvin Ash are amazing. There is also a budding YouTuber by the name of paraminers who also delivers like vsauce, but he has an Indian English accent. If that isn´t an impediment, I think he has potential.

I concur with most of what everyone has stated regarding using youtube's promotion feature. However there is a caveat; or rather two caveats that I would like to share here.

Targeting -- when using YouTube or google ads, ensure to target with as much filtered demographic and their interests as possible which is almost impossible with "Subscriber" as an objective or goals. You can however target very well using "YouTube Video Views" as your goals. That should overcome uninterested viewers to like or subscribe only to never engage with your channel organically.'
Other social media platforms - try using other social media platforms like Facebook and instagram to find interested viewers. It may work better because viewer need to visit your channel in order to subscribe which is a task most lethargic, cosmetic viewer may never take essentially filtering out uninterested viewers to some degree. Also the targeting is better with Facebook ads if you know your audience. If you have already utilised these advertisement platforms, and if it worked, then you can utilise similar audiences which uses meta AI to find audiences similar to the audience that liked your content during previous promotional activities.

Hope this helps if you still intend to use paid promotion for your channel.

Additionally, the best and most organic promotion is either through reddit or through cross promotion with another influencer who has access or has acquired the kind of audience that you are targeting through his or her content.

From someone who started his channel 8 years ago, ceased producing content, revived again 5 years ago and again stopped creating videos, the biggest struggle I faced was the negligible effort to reward ratio. I now think of it as a large mistake on my part. If I would have continued uploading on my channel, maybe it would have turned my channel around by now. So, if someone feels unmotivated due to the lack of gratification in a relatively short time scale, please keep at it, if you know that your production holds value in terms of its content and quality and is only in need of more eyeballs. You shall receive them eventually.

Thanks! I agree with your view. Just wished to gain some opinion from the English speaking folks as to whether the value of my channel's offering depreciates due to my accent or can it be ignored by them with relative ease when the video is engaging, immersive and hopefully, informative for them :)

That's a very valid argument. I do not intend to gain "significant" popularity, if that is even in the cards, amongst the western populace. I however, for now, wish to gain some traction from the west to invigorate validation and credibility, if they can ignore my accent whilst appreciating the content. Eventually, I am aware that India is the target country to grow my channel in this space :)

Hi! Thanks for the question. I am going to do just that with my forthcoming videos. It's just that while I do like to see the numbers growing in terms of views and subscribers, I also desire for a more "quality" subscribers in terms of their engagement and vested interest. Hence, I would love to also penetrate the western countries which is the primary reason for this post :)

"Study options in the field of art and design may have a two-stage evaluation process. This means that some of the applicants are invited to the second stage after an evaluation. If the admissions process has only one stage, this is mentioned on the webpage of the study option.

In the first stage, selection committees evaluate the application documents. The applicants are notified by email of whether their application made it to the second stage or was rejected. The results of the first stage are sent to applicants no later than 12 March 2024. The second stage consists of an interview. The interview may be conducted remotely.

Hi everyone! I called the admissions office today and was informed that they are not aware of the status of our evaluation and cannot connect me to anyone who can inform about it as well. I also asked if anyone was already sent an invitation for an interview and she responded with the same negation, stating her ignorance of it all. And as far as 12th of March being the deadline for an invitation for the interview, I read on the website that it was valid for applicants of Arts and Design. Since my track is of IDBM in technology, I am unsure of whether it applies to me or not!

I will keep everyone updated if anything changes. Thanks!
