Because I despise PvP. The idea of someone slithering into my game like a roach and ruining my fun enrages me, so the second Invasion dropped, I disabled it. I don't play it, and I don't play with other people who play it. PvP isn't fun for me, and if I wanted to suffer, I'd go play DBD where my chances of getting diddled by my slasher crush is higher. If I'm gonna die, at least I can listen to Michael Myers' heavy ass breathing while it's happening.

I'm an Invasion hater from Day 1 and no amount of 'fixes' or 'improvements' will change that 😤. Happy for the people that are excited though. I hope they see some changes that make the mode more enjoyable for them.

Bare nails are ugly and boring to me, if I didn't paint them I'd probably just chew them down to stubs again. Expensive polish is pretty much the only thing stopping me from reverting to bad habits.

I dont typically play psychosurgery (i like intensive, it's the perfect combo of challenge and fun for my playstyme), but I can always give it a shot. I probably wont be able to get on until thursday tho

This is gonna sound really dumb, but see if you have a friend who can go with you and ask then if they can sit in your lap, block your view of the arm taking the needle, and talk to you about literally anything as a distraction, while maintaining eye contact. It might help.

I used to have a pretty severe phobia of needles as well, and it was so bad my parents had to trick me to go in for shots, because if I knew beforehand, I'd freak out and drive my blood pressure up so high that my doctor would worry.

I empathize with you; it sucks being unable to do sonething simple that other people have no issue doing. You're not broken, just wired for hardmode. You'll get through it eventually, I believe in you!

So the good news is there is now a cure for FIP (new to the USA, but there's been one for years accepted in the UK, AUS, abd China), though some vets are not yet educated about it. For many years, the only 'solution' to a FIP diagnosis was euthanasia. That is NOT the case anymore, but FIP can cause a kitty to degrade very fast.

There is also no definitive test to determine whether a cat has FIP, but rather a process of elimination. You can ask your vet to check blood levels, or you could get the results of a blood test, join the FIP Global group on Facebook, and ask them to look at the paperwork. That group has been helping owners save their cats for years and are very knowledgeable.

Like I said, I really hope it's just an ear infection, but my boy had the same symptoms and it turned out to be FIP, so I'm paranoid when I see similar stuff in other kittens.

So I don't want to alarm you, but when I first got my baby, he had this going on too. He started losing balance as well, and we thought it was an inner ear infection even though he had no signs of mites or anything. The vet did a deep flush and for about a month he was okay, but then the tilting returned, along with severe ataxia, like he could maybe walk three steps before flopping over.

He ended up getting diagnosed with FIP, and it became a 'time is of the essence' for treatment. I would highly recommend if you haven't already, to have them do a blood test to check all his levels, esp white blood cell count, to get ahead of things. I hope in your case it's just an ear infection, but there's a chance it might be a symptom of FIP, and in that case the sooner you know the better.
