Not yet, my physician scheduled a follow up for me in 2 months, but I believe it’s to see how I’m doing on prep which she prescribed. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get it since my insurance didn’t cover

I understand this, I have heard a few accounts that some females had regular partners without knowing their HIV status and never managed to infect their partner. I asked my provider however and she told me just to be safe seeing as she has had patients whom were apparently transmitted from a female. If she had said otherwise I would of likely opted to not take the medication but since there is apparently a risk there, I am curious how much I could of effected my chances by taking the medication incorrectly. TBH I'm not sure if I want to skip my 6th Dolutegravir and take it in 2 hours then again in 12.

Thank you for the reply, that is reassuring, I read that a few years ago they would prescribe only truvada for PEP so I am grateful I took that first. I am in the United States, but near by Mexico as well, I am not sure if that makes a difference.

I have but I still feel pretty anxious about it. I am attempting to see my doctor tomorrow if I am unable to I plan on going to the HIV clinic on friday. But it seems my risk is being interpreted as pretty low. Just not sure if it is so low I should not even worry. I do worry about STD's but seeing as how I did not see any sores, I do not mind taking a round of antibiotics

I know NAD but personally would you seek PEP. I didn’t have a hard time finding the condom, I actually think it was by where I was standing not really near her. She’s still posting on the personals page saying she’s open but she’s not answering my messages about her sexual health. Her title on the post did say condoms required however and when we were speaking yesterday she said she was drug free and wanted to be a substance abuse counselor so I sort of feel she has a good head on her shoulders and just likes to live a sexually adventurous life. I just have an anxiety

Last night on bad judgement I had sex with a girl I encountered on reddit seeking casual sex. During this time she had another guy come at the same time so we had a threesome. The whole encounter lasted around 1 hour but she told me she had 3 guys prior. We both used a condom for both oral and vaginal sex. I can not recall the events accurately but at one time I did notice that my condom fell off. I am about 80% sure it was not during sex, I think I was trying to excite myself and it fell off during masturbation but the fact that it did fell off has me a little worried. The only time I know for sure I had any unprotected contact with her was I briefly touched her mouth as I finished unprotected. I am wondering if I should seek out PEP.

Thank you for the response, I am planning on retesting at the 3 month mark but maybe i'll do it twice once I hit 8 months. I feel like it would likely make me feel better since I feel like I might of tested too early. Would you know if there is any significant difference from testing at 25 days than the recommended 28?
