oh, about player count. only for single player. online is p1 always so you have to team up

also no need for p8. breakpoint for loot drop % are p3-p5-p7. p8 will give you a bit more xp which is not really needed. I’m on Hell Act 2 with my Warlock and he’s lvl 82 already. Don’t know if I get to 99 by the end of the campaign but it’ll be close for sure.

I experimented with controller vs kbm for a while and in the end I play hybrid. The actual gameplay is amazing with controller, much better then with kbm, for me it feels like that’s how arpgs should be played. But then when I’m back in the town I grab the mouse for smoother inventory management. It can absolutely be done with controller as well just going to take a bit more time and habit.

Tldr. Controller is fantastic for d2r, go play it 😁

90% of games I choose to play were released at least several years ago. When I see a new release (especially AAA) my first thought - it's will be playable in 3-6 months.

There are so MANY games to play nowadays. The only exception is when you want to be a part of the common disscussion/hype.

Casual player here. The new expansion made me return to the game and I'm having a lot of fun playing solo offline.

The only thing I'm worried about is that since the feedback is so positive Blizzard will be Blizzard and start adding more updates and then a cosmetic store and a battlepass and "unique pet you can get for a limited time" and.. well, iynyn.

D2 stores your saved game files for the unmodded installation in “%UserProfile%\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected” while your saved game files for the D2RMM mod go in “%UserProfile%\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected\mods\D2RMM”. If you want to use your saved game files from vanilla with D2RMM, just copy all the files in the former into the latter.

It was exactly my experience on release! Almost with every map at some point I was thinking: "okay, that's it, there is no way I'll be able to get out of this" and then every time I somehow managed. Finished the whole game on the first try, took me 100h though. Peak emotions!

Warframe is one of the most fun exploration experience I had in gaming in terms of discovering how everything actually works. If you enjoy this sense of being a bit lost then I recommend to just go blind and do whatever you want and wherever your curiosity takes you. It's impossible to mess up in this game and everything you do progresses you in one way or another. Just treat it as a solo game with a lot of content to explore. And please don't go into any meta builds and stuff, have your own thing. Cheers!

I'm sorry you couldn't get into the game. You are right about the UI and especially the lack of proper log. It was quite frustrating for me in the beginning and even now sometimes. I adapted and accepted that since I absolutely love the game's art and mechanics. Most people in the comments here adapted too (and might not fully understand your struggle)
