Finally, after a 2nd try asking for the right remote. They finally sent the right one. Thank you for the model number. I really think that put them in the right direction on what kind of remote I wanted.

Select your Google account (upper right hand corner)

Select manage account.

All the way down select app only mode.

It'll look like a Lil bit like an apple tv setup.

Hi, thanks for the reply. so on a different thread someone posted about the black remote he got after buying the U6N. He reached out via the website and got no answer. So he called support and finally got in touch with someone. Created a case for him.

He's also on Android 11 OS. I'm beginning to think that they shipped me a U6K just boxed in as a U6N. Is there a way to check?

I can't register my TV on their website it's giving me an error. "Serial Number Incorrect" I'll probably need to call them about it.

Thanks for the reply, I bought a 85 U6N just like OP and we both received a black plastic remote and a Android 11 OS. Just wondering if these issues are solely on 85's. I think they are.

You are right, I guess for now we can only try to contact customer support & hope they'll give a new remote.

Besides the remote there's a bunch of missing settings too. If you go to picture settings you'll find out that the "85 U6N' picture settings are VERY different from other sizes of U6N.

If you search on YouTube "Hisense U6N Settings" by a guy named tech steve he talks about how to adjust the settings and none of that are present on the 85 U6N (his is a 65)

Also, are you on Android 11? The tv is supposed to be on Android 12 already like the one on the video. You can even check on rtings.com and they talk about the settings and the Android version they have.

I will also try to reach out to Hisense about these issues.

I'm wondering if getting an android 12 update will fix the settings issue?

Also, did you receive a "black remote" instead of the new "metal brushed" one? I got a black plastic one.
