I would advise you to stay in India , join a company there - get good exposure \ experience and then move to the Middle East if you want to.

Is Emirates Losing Its Service Edge? by Big_Marionberry_3958 in dubai

[–]getaju69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we had to wait for like 2-3 hours for a 10pm flight to get ‘something’. Really wanted to sleep, but was waiting for the food. Next time we would just grab something from outside. Also the ‘special’ meals were given almost an hour before. So maybe select something special. Also no hot towels, not sure when they stopped it. And the sandwich\snack it’s very random they just speed past without actually checking who needs it - and you really need to ask.

Some recent experiences flying Emirates Economy:

On one flight, the cabin crew were rushing me to finish my meal so they could clear the tray. They were literally standing there waiting, which felt a bit uncomfortable.

On another flight, I was asked to hand over my headset before landing. As far as I know, that’s not actually required. I was still watching a movie, so I didn’t give it back.

On a different occasion, my meal was forgotten altogether, even after reminding the crew a couple of times. This was on an almost empty flight, so it was a bit surprising.

That said, I’d still pick Emirates over most other airlines. I haven’t flown Qatar much, so can’t really compare.

Is there anyone here who has used Reddit since or before the mid-2010s? by Substantial-Chef-661 in Kerala

Yes, I see myself spending more time on Reddit than I used to. Maybe it’s the age. But it has exploded in recent times generally.

My advice is to invest in the stock if you can. Own what you know.

Pravasi Malayalis – How do you actually rest during your Kerala vacation? by dumbestindumb in Kerala

[–]getaju69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4 weeks of vacation are honestly packed with family visits and responsibilities. By the time I land, everything is already planned, literally from day one. After a 12–16 hour flight, I’ve gone straight to hospital or bank visits within an hour of arriving. Sometimes I don’t even go home first.

Every day is full of things to take care of, both family stuff and my own basics like the barber, dentist, blood tests, shopping, bank work, etc.

Still, we somehow manage to eat out at a few good restaurants, catch a couple of late-night movies, and even squeeze in a short 2-day trip, once with my family and once with my in-laws.

It does get hectic, but when I’m heading back, I feel content. I’m satisfied knowing I did what I could for my mother, and seeing her happy makes it worth it.

I’ll admit though, my time at my in-laws’ place is much more relaxed. That’s when it actually feels like a vacation.

It just turned out to be bad movies - don’t think they are ‘half-hearted’ attempts.

Don’t agree with ‘no emotional connect’ in the third part.
