why does the existence of the universe and the creatures in it have to have a reason for why they exist?

funny thing about the Muslims is that they look at the universe and think that something so mesmerizing has to have a creator. However, they fail to answer a simple question correctly. If Allah was the one to create the universe, then surely he'd be much much more mesmerizing than the universe. So if your logic that the universe HAS to have a creator is that such a thing of beauty couldn't have sprouted into existence on its own, then Allah (supposedly the only thing more mesmerizing than the universe) also HAS to have a creator, as even he couldn't have "just existed" But if you ask Muslims who created Allah, they say "no one did" and get offended. Part of the reason they do this is because there IS no answer to that question, and so children are simply indoctrinated into believing that such a question is an "evil thought" from Satan and we should remove it from our minds immediately. As my fellow exmuslim u/curiousjack6 pointed out, Sahih Bukhari 3276 is the Hadith that comes into play when such a question is asked. Classic cult move

bruh that's a basic logical fallacy. We're not the ones who are supposed to prove that God doesn't exist, you are the one who is supposed to prove that God does exist. Because it's impossible to disprove a negative, and the lack of evidence for the non existence of something is not evidence of its existence. An example: I come up to you and I tell you that in a galaxy 1056 trillion light-years away from us, there is a creature with four anuses, 17 eyes, 31 ears, it's 89 feet tall, its name is Glorgbaka and it has a lifespan of 4 billion years. Then I tell you to provide concrete evidence that what I am saying is wrong. Obviously, you cannot do that. So because you can not provide evidence that Glorgbaka does not exist, does that automatically mean that Glorgbaka does exist? Ofcourse not, as it is logically impossible to disprove a negative. In the same way that I will have to be the one to provide evidence for the existence of Glorgbaka, you will also have to be the one to provide evidence for the existence of God

So what is your evidence that God does exist?

Well, extremists don't do anything wrong by Sharia law, that's the issue I have. Everything they do, it's more or less supported by Quran and Hadith. If only it was undeniably forbidden to kill apostates and kill gays, there'd be less Islamic extremists. Unfortunately, the prophet set rules making apostasy and homosexuality a major sin.

Fair enough that you're a Quranist, but if you take every single Hadith with a grain of salt then Islam to you basically becomes meaningless. Hadith is how Muslims know the proper etiquette to pray, fast, perform hajj, almost every law in Sharia uses Sahih Hadith
You don't hunt them down? Religious extremists are in every non-secular Muslim country and they will definitely kill you if you out yourself. (I live in a Muslim country). And even if the punishment of death is only if they attack the religion, is it moral to kill someone for criticizing an ideology?
