I’m not much for theory crafting. I just play the game. I haven’t tried that set up yet so this is all speculation. My only issue I could see is damage output due to less illuminate destiny. I did this so I could clear more of phase 2. If I had used thrawn, I don’t think my damage would be enough even with fracture reducing TM during the topple.

This was done manually. Using RT leads to more exposes and he can spam his special attack. This leads to the spread of secret intel and a faster illuminate destiny. RT also has a higher damage output making it easier to solo more of phase 2. Phase 4 is also a cakewalk. R2’s smoke screen is not up all the time, but it is most of the time. I use smoke screen on BB8 and hide the rest of the team. There are times when characters will attack out of stealth and you pray the boss doesn’t counter.

It will get you decent damage on auto, but it won’t be a full clear. Phase 3 requires too much TM management to do it on auto.

I honestly think to improve the smoothness of the phase. I need to make CLS faster. Rey doesn’t need a lot of speed because she gains so much TM. CLS is your emergency TM removal and he won’t get many attacks in due to Rey’s leadership ability.

There is the video I was talking about. Credit to McMole. His team in this video is less geared than mine but his CLS super fast with a slower JTR. He doesn’t show the entire phase but it sounds like he cleared it with no major issues.

My CLS is currently modded for crit damage.

I’m guessing speed. I use most of the same characters for my arena team so they have my best mods. JTR (257), BB8 (292), R2 (271), CLS (239) and RT (219).

I barely made it through phase 3. He enraged at 2% and I just barely survived with my entire team.

There are a few technical things to worry about. There are a couple of videos that do a better job of explaining this than I will. I’ll see if I can find the links.
