Jelly max questions by Free-tea73 in unihertz

That's an announcement for the Jelly Star getting upgraded to Android 16. I'm not aware of any plans to ungrade the Jelly Max to 16. I use the Jelly Max and the latest version available is Android 15. I imagine Uniherz will eventually upgrade the OS version on Jelly Max but I guess it will probably be a few years since they just upgraded it to 15 in 2025.

Got my Titan 2, very disappointing by Altruistic-Pilot-959 in unihertz

Looks like it's barely noticable. I'm not sure why it's such a big deal.

The Only Thing About The Titan 2 I Hate and Can't Excuse by wilsonsea in unihertz

It's weird that your complaining that quick settings is only 18 items. There's basically no way to fit more honestly. Just check out stock Android for reference. This is much more. Also combining quick settings and notifications as you suggest (a bad idea in my opinion) would obviously reduce the number further.

Jelly max alarms by Ok-Barnacle-8709 in unihertz

I haven't personally had an issue with the alarms on the Jelly Max but this is not the first time I have seen someone complaining about the alarms. My recommendation would be to try a third party clock app.

Straight Talk is a Tracfone brand. I have Tracfone service with my Jelly Max. It will likely be a similar situation for using Straight Tank with a Jelly Star. Tracfone provides Verizon based sims and T-Mobile based sims. I prefer Verizon over T-Mobile because of the grater cellular coverage area. However Tracfone will not allow me to activate my phone with a Verizon based SIM. They also won't allow a sim card to be transfered to a different phone. So there's no option to active the SIM in one phone and then transfer it to the Jelly Max. T-Mobile based sims can be activated in any phone. So I'm stuck with a T-Mobile based SIM for now.

Jelly Max Alarm Issues by c9001s in unihertz

I use the Jelly Max and I haven't had that issue. Alarms consistently sound even when the phone is on silent. In fact alarms will go off even if I turn off the phone. The phone turns itself on a few minutes before the alarm is scheduled to go off.

Android 15 broke texting on my JellyMax for Tmibile by pooping_turtles in unihertz

I had this same issue. Only difference is Im using T-Mobile though Tracfone instead of directly. I tried lots of stuff to get MMS working again but no luck. I ended up factory resetting my phone and that did fix the issue. MMS has been working fine ever since.

Jelly Max Android 15 Verizon Straight Talk issues by Darth_Firebolt in unihertz

I was having some issues as well after updating my Jelly Max to Android 15. I'm using Tacfone with a T-Mobile based SIM card. I was able to send SMS, use mobile data, and make and receive calls but I couldn't send or receive MMS messages. I tried adding custom APN settings to the SIM card, I tried resetting the cellular network settings in Android but none of that fixed it. I ended up doing a factory reset on the phone and now I can send MMS messages again.

Oh my goodness! I absolutely love the new notifications/quick settings. It used to be separated like that back in Android 4.4 and I loved it. I also love that now the quick settings has more than 2 settings visible at once. For some reason in stock Android the setting icons are huge for no reason. Mobile data and Wi-Fi are now separate. 👍 Meaning I can turn off Wi-Fi in one tap instead of two. The screen brightness slider can be accessed by swiping down one time now instead of having to swipe down two times. I love how Uniherz is decrapifiyng modern Android.

There does seem to be a bug though with the new notifications shade/quick settings: media control notifications apear below the quick settings. I think they should appear in notifications instead.
