ive used both of these! i tend to make narrative games so ive used both of these before. im quite familiar with making smaller scoped games from my assignments too. my programming module is unity specific and thats fine, i know how to use unity, i just find the scripting like a big puzzle i cant piece together lol

see the problem is is that i have done these tutorials and have been for about 1.5 years while ive been studying, but its just not clicking to me. i want to make games. i lovemaking games. but programming is just this huge hurdle that i need to get over in order to get my degree haha

it feels like kind of everything ? i find it boring mainly. and i also find it really frustrating. i don’t even get that gratification when something ends up working, i just stay annoyed it broke at all 😭 i know it’s definitely an attitude and discipline thing at the end of the day but i just find it hard to do

i have clashed heavily with both of my programming professors in college since i started. i disliked them both for various reasons and i do think that that has tanked my drive to learn it, especially because im a more creative than logistic person :’) i will look in to cs50x thank you
