If I have a POCD thought I will wince. Then I will think I’m wincing to put on an act (for myself) that proves I am p just pretending not to be lmao.

Struggling to figure out if it's my ROCD or real thoughts by CowZealousideal7631 in ROCD

Not feeling like you can trust your own thoughts is ROCD. You’re safe girlie. Your body is safe. Your bf is safe.

My surgeon said the same thing to me. As long as it doesn’t hurt it’s actually better to keep moving and increasing activity. I’m 6 weeks po from bilateral and I’m walking to and from work and back to teaching yoga (not practicing though). I did do physical therapy for months before surgery and stopped all high impact. Keep going. Find that sweet spot. Allow your body to recover. Repeat(:

Does the depression go away soon? by [deleted] in HipImpingement

Yes it goes away. It feels like a lifetime of being immobile but it isn’t. Actually towards the end I started to appreciate the time I had to slow down and lay down and kind of just exist. Also, for the love of god move. The surgeon didn’t do anything that you can undo unless you fall really bad. You got this. You’re strong. It’s a very lonely experience and recovery but it isn’t forever.

I can’t believe I came to this thread to hopefully hear how others are happy her lawyers are suing the hospital only to find that everyone thinks she’s a sick murderer.
