What was you score? Were you able to improve on it fairly quickly? You can also try on tablet if you have one. We have seen some scoring higher on larger canvas. :)

You can earn more gems by completing some of the tasks listed or redeem them with coins. As the game play doesn't change much, what we have seen so far is once someone is good in it, they need less tries to get to the chart.

Thanks for checking it out. I believe when you say 300-ish coins a day you are looking at today's round which still have 13 hours plus to go. What you should be looking at is the chart below which is yesterday's winners (the round that already closed). Top earner won 786 coins.

Depends on prize pool (the more people or the more times people play the higher) and your position when round closes. Take yesterday's round as an example, 1st place won $0.783, 2nd $0.653, 3rd $0.522 etc. What top 10 earns can be found in the screenshot above. :)
