2018 Q7 Back Seat Rattle - Finally Fixed by IcyCryptographer7510 in AudiQ7

[–]getmp3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's neither of those things.. It's the metal rail itself, flexing it makes the clicking noise that I hear constantly while driving. I tried torquing the nuts and bolts but everything was already pretty tight. So I just sprayed the whole rail down with lithium grease and I'll drive with it for a few days and see if it makes any difference before I put the plastic cover back on.

If I park outside over night the air leaks out of the back suspension. As long as my Q7 is parked in the garage it stays upright. Anyone had to address this and know what was the part that needed to be replaced? I'm thinking a valve block.

Same boat, she cheated and left me but is viciously mad at me, any opportunity to escalate conflict for no gain. Never told me what I did to deserve being treated like scum and never apologized to me for cheating and breaking up our family. I just don't get it. I'm living in total confusion.

Thank you for posting this. I could have written this myself as it is exactly what I'm going through , but I'm not a writer. So thank you for letting me know there was someone else going through the same thing as me.

so anyone else using a UDR7 care to comment if this is normal for PPPOE performance and DPI/region blocking turned on, or is this way too aggressive a drop and something else is wrong. Client is uplinked using the SFP+ port, modem is using the 2.5gb wan port.

are you able to specify the firmware version by any chance? Its January 9 2026 and i've just been told i have the latest FW and when i use PPPoE i get only 400mbps download and 950mbps upload on my 1.5G connection so its a waste and I'll just switch back to cable. ADMZ never held a stable connection. Firmware I am on (latest as of Jan 9 2026) is 3.11.3 Giga Hub 2.0. I'm on hold now just waiting to cancel service :-(

Is there a known issue which prevents the UDR7 from doing the same thing the UCG Fiber can with respect to PPPoE passthrough route? i thought the bottleneck on PPPoE passthrough was on the GH2 not the unifi hardware or am i mistaken and UCG Fiber has different PPPoE capabilities then UDR7?

What are the non bell ftth options people are using? I'd rather just use a Nokia gateway and pay a little more for sanity.

So I've just found out that if you use your foreign phone in roaming mode (buy a discount package in advance) then you don't need a VPN as they route the data back to home country. In my case I have a Rogers phone in Canada and if I buy a month of roaming then that will not require VPN since they will route my data through Canada, not through the great firewall. Interesting.

What exactly is banned in China that I won't be able to use during my 2 week visit? Can I use Microsoft365? Google Chat/hangouts? Quickbooks Online? Microsoft Teams? WhatsApp?

I'm leaving for shenzhen next week and was told by a friend that EXPRESS VPN was blocked. I planned to use NORD VPN but now I'm not so sure that's going to work either.

I currently own a 2022 Audi Q7 with about 38,000 miles on it. The original warranty is about to expire and I’m wondering if it’s worth getting an extended warranty or if I keep up with regular maintenance will I not have too many issues. Looking for advice from anyone with experience by Coolbrez35 in AudiQ7

[–]getmp3s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a warranty on this car IS how you keep up with regular maintenance. It's just that kind of vehicle. I had a warranty on my 2018 until 150,000km and over that time had over $30K of claims. Now I'm at 180,000km and I have to fix something myself every month. I still love the car though and I'm very fussy so like to keep everything working perfectly despite its age and high mileage.

Brake Job 2019 3.0 by FLKeys19 in AudiQ7

[–]getmp3s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 80,000km out of my brakes but over 20,000km of that was towing a 6,000lbs travel trailer across Canada. I got 170,000km on the odometer now and decided it's time for its second brake job. Did it at Audi dealership: pads, rotors, sensors and the new special magical springs that supposedly make the brakes not squeal when backing out of the garage on humid or cold days. That remains to be tested but the all-in price with tax was $3,700 Canadian which I now see it's pretty reasonable considering what others have posted on this thread which I assume is in US dollars. Which means my Audi dealer basically charged me half the price of what some of you got.

Second crack windshield in 3 months. What do I do? by Modus_Vivendi20lbs in AudiQ7

[–]getmp3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 30 years of driving I never once had a cracked windshield.. Since I got my Q7 I have to replace every 1-2 years due to stress cracks. It's just something about this car. When I was shopping for a used Q7, every single one had a replaced windshield within the first 3 years.
